What sort of mental gymnastics did the Nazis have to do to ignore Jesus being Jewish?

Hello!

I’m Jewish and have studied quite a bit of Jewish history in university, mostly in the Levant and Mediterranean. What I’ve never gotten was this: Jesus was a Jew from Judea. He was born to a Jewish mother, so under Halacha, he’s a Jew. It’s my understanding that Christians also accept that he was born Jewish. How did the Nazis reckon with Jesus being a Jew while also trying to eliminate Jews? It seems like it would’ve taken a lot of mental gymnastics. I know that propaganda is a hell of a drug, but a lot of their propaganda was through pseudoscience separating Jews from Aryans through the idea of “Semitic race” based on language groups resulting in ethnic Jews of other religions being killed for being ethnically Jewish. Jesus would’ve undoubtedly been part of this “Semitic race” and met the Nazi requirements of being a Jew (at least one Jewish grandparent).

Is a non-jail broken iPhone 16e good enough to emulate 3DS games?

Hello!

I recently upgraded from an iPhone 11 to an iPhone 16e. On my 11 I primarily emulated Gameboy Advance and DS games. I tried some 3DS games, but the lag was really bad and distorted the audio at best and made the game unplayable at worst. Now that I have a better phone, I’m wondering if it should fix the lag? If not, it’s not a huge deal because I’m ordering a new charger for my 3DS soon. I’m mostly wanting to play Pokémon X and Y again.

How to improve handwriting in multiple languages?

I speak English and Hebrew. I’ve been practicing tracing good handwriting in both languages to improve my handwriting as my handwriting is very poor in both languages. It’s maybe a bit better in Hebrew, but I write very slow in Hebrew compared to English.

It doesn’t seem like I’m making much of an improvement in either. I wonder if it’s because the letters are so different.

Has anyone tried to improve handwriting in multiple languages with different letters? Any advice?

Is the Hebrew keyboard decent?

A quick google says that it supports Hebrew. the main reason I haven’t switched from the regular iOS keyboard is how convenient it is to switch between Hebrew and English. I hit a button and bam it’s Hebrew or bam it’s English. Is it a simple button press on Swiftkey too? Are the Hebrew suggestions and autocorrect features good? Does it get confused about Hebrew being right to left like some apps do?

Obsessed with the motion sickness dots

I recently upgraded from the iPhone 11 to iPhone 16e. So of course, I went through every single setting in the settings to mess around with things. I stumbled across the motion sickness dots which I didnt know existed!

I’m someone who gets motion sickness a lot, but I’m disabled, so I rarely drive myself. Just going to the store in the passenger seat might make me sick. Honestly, watching the dots does more for me than watching the road. It’s amazing how well they work.

I recommend checking it out in the accessibility settings if you’re also someone who gets motion sickness a ton!

Finished my Shaymin Flag

I recently restarted my island after abandoning my last one for multiple years. I’m kind of a casual player, so I don’t really theme my islands. However, I’m slowly working on an area inspired by the flower fields you find Shaymin in in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl because Shaymin is one of my favorite Pokémon.

To get the vibe right, I’ve temporarily set my island flag to Shaymin and island tune to the Floaroma Town theme. I don’t have Nintendo Switch Online, so I found inspiration online and made my own version of the flag. Last image is the original since I wouldn’t have been able to do this without it as a reference and want to give credit.

I’ll probably change it if/when I start working on another big area, but I really like it for now.

Is it reasonable to ask to change the two factor on my email during a data transfer?

Hope this is okay to ask here

I’m going in for a data transfer. It’s at a repair shop I’ve been to before. Originally I went to see if my phone is fixable, and they told me quite honestly at this point it wouldn’t be worth it for me to fix it (dropped a 6 year old phone fully in water after a screen replacement and shorted multiple components). However, since I just got the screen replacement like a month ago, they’re giving me a deal on a data transfer to my new phone.

They’re going to temporarily hook it up to enough components so that I can transfer over my data from my iCloud. My only concern is my Gmail. My Gmail has two factor authentication I no longer have access to.

Would it be reasonable for me to ask them for me to be able to quickly access my gmail to change/remove the two factor during the data transfer?

Transferring Data From IPhone After Setup

I upgraded today from the iPhone 11 to iPhone 16e. My iPhone 11 is completely broken. A repair service I’ve used before is going to give me a deal on a data transfer from my 11 to my 16e (temporarily attach it to the right parts to get it to turn on). For now, I’ve skipped iCloud login as I can’t verify it’s me with my phone broken. Will I be able to transfer the data easily tomorrow? Or will I have to factory reset my new phone to get the screen backup? I haven’t had a new phone in 6 years, so I don’t remember if it’s possible to transfer after the fact. So far I’ve only changed some short cuts, so it’s not a big deal if I have to factory reset it tomorrow.

EDIT: Unfortunately, I was slacking on updating two factor on my iCloud before my old phone broke, so it has an old phone number I don’t have access to. Good to know I should factory reset my phone again before I go in! Putting this here because my account is too new to comment.
