Lola hate
I just wanted to remind people of last year before they start spreading hate, because the people hating are probably the same who hated on Meg, Helena, Dejon etc.
I think, just like last year with Meg and Dejon, a lot of the public have been against Lola and Fitzy since day one because of them becoming exclusive too early in the audience’s opinion and being “scammers” for the 50k. And then because of this, whatever they do is wrong - they cant do anything right in the viewers eyes - and this sort of critical overanalysing of their actions especially falls on the girl.
Meg especially got so much hate (worse than Dejon which imo reeks of misogyny) and now people have completely forgotten about her and the drama of last year. I even saw some people say “maybe we misjudged the mean girls” (in relation to the big 3’s controversial opinions on the Debrief). I think it just shows how fickle this fanbase is, and it tires me because i can see the same pattern repeating over and over. Maybe you dont like Fitzy/Lola, fine. But hating on someone because you don’t like their relationship is completely absurd. I think Lola raised some good points in her argument with Julia, even if i didnt fully agree, and yet people are callibg for her to get voted out saying “i would love to see Fitzy cheat on her on the outside”. I think you all just need to get a grip?? its a tv show?
Jasmine has been behaving awfully towards Priya on more than one occasion. Yet no-one is calling for her to be voted out, and she’ll probably make it to the final four because of her popularity. Yet AGAIN, just like last year, you’re over exaggerating the flaws of the islanders you dont like and turning a blind eye to your favs bad behaviour.
Please guys just be normal and dont be hateful. Remember to be kind💖
