I Don’t Enjoy Being a Mom Anymore

I love my child more than anything. She just turned 8 and has ADHD and Autism. She is perfectly fine for everybody. When she’s with us, 90% of the time is arguing, rudeness, anger, meltdowns, and pure rage. Every time we go somewhere, it’s ruined by the end because of her behavior. She’s what you’d consider level 1. She does great in school academically, has some trouble focusing but it’s improved, etc. Every morning she wakes up ready to just scream and fight. She’s amazing during the day for my in laws (where she goes during the summer while we work). By the time she gets home, same thing as the morning. Even if we just let her be and decompress when we pick her up, it’s straight rage again. I don’t understand and I’m so lost. I’m so jealous of other parents who don’t have to deal with this.

Raynauds Secondary

Not looking for a DX since I have a Rheumatologist appt on 9/8. Was anyone ever diagnosed with Raynauds as a secondary to a different Autoimmune? I have struggled my whole life and over the last 5 years or so, more issues have come up. Between my OBGYN, PCP, PT, and pain doctor (dx with degenerative disc disease), they all believe I have something else underlying.

Morning Routine

Anyone have advice for dealing with 7 year old with AuDHD in the morning? She gets up on her own with an alarm clock during the week. She’ll either start reading or playing. The issue begins when it’s time to start getting showered, dressed, and then downstairs for breakfast. She has to be told 10 times that it’s time to start, she wants to argue about literally everything. Her new thing is acting extremely offended by anything negative; “how dare you!” is one of the responses. We have to be out the door at 7:35, so her alarm is set for 6:15. We head downstairs by 7; she gets her ADHD meds at 7:15.

Seems like no matter what, mornings end up in tears.
