I have a PS2 Slim (SCPH-90004 PAL) with a Sumo Lite modchip. It reads PS2 backups (DVD-R) and Audio CDs (CD-R) perfectly, but PS1 backups are completely unrecognized.
I already accessed the modchip settings menu and enabled the PSX options. I also tried the fast double-reset trick on the power button, but it didn't work.
Could it be that there is a hidden button combo that needs to be activated for this specific clone?

From my constant and extensive experience I've noticed that the behavior of the racers and police in Midnight Club 3 DUB Edition is more aggressive than in Midnight Club 3 DUB Edition Remix
Has anyone else noticed this too or am I just imagining things?
