In a July 1, 2026, article on the Streetsblog Chicago website, Aida Flores said that she has been biking in Pilsen since she was a child. She has encouraged her children to ride their bikes by holding family bike rides. ”It’s great to be able to teach the kids how to be safe [while bike riding] and, also, how to enjoy their city,“ Flores stated.
