Fun place to stay close to the TriStar Centennial Medical Center end of July

I would like to find some cool places *very close* to the TriStar Centennial Medical Center for company to stay. Boutique hotels, anything funkier than the usual Marriott or whatever. Dates are July 23-26. Thank you in advance!

Looking for: The little girl who used to draw caricatures at the Aspen Farmer's Market from about 2007-2008.

I framed her art and she is probably in her 20s by now. Anyone know who this was?

Looking to stream Crosscutters games from out of (PA) state. I don't have cable; I have a firestick.

Any suggestions?

LEWIS VILLAGE History

Can anyone point me to sources to read up on the history of the Historic Lewis Village in Greenville? Much appreciated!

PSA for the Swamp Rabbit Trail

While riding my bike to work this morning, I was body slammed by a runner in yet another flavor-of-the-month race. My dog was secured into a rear carrier, and we both went down sideways. I was going under 10mph (because I bike respectfully, even on non-race days, and because I also use the trail as a pedestrian, and to walk my dog). Seems when we host a race, there are no fucks given for anyone not racing. There were runners 3, 4 and even 5 abreast. I announced loudly, clearly, and rang my bell all the way to work. The woman that ran smack into me was running in the on-coming lane of traffic, looking DOWN AT THE PATH the whole time. When I could not get away from running into her, I put my feet down, and she kept running until she knocked me over.

FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS PURE AND NATURAL, not everyone is in the race that you're lucky enough to be off on a Saturday to participate in. The SRT is a multi-modal path, and unless it is being blocked off for your race, please be aware there will be other human beings (and their dogs) also recreating, or commuting on the trail.

I am bruised, scuffed and cut, 3 of my toes feel like a hammer fell on them. My poor dog is terrified to get back in the bike that she loves.
