My psychiatrist runs a Spravato office along with his normal clinic. I have tried 3 anti depressants with no luck treating all the symptoms. I have my first appointment on Monday and I’m pretty nervous.

Can I get some feedback on how it worked for you and some side effects you’ve experienced? Any info at all would be great!

Edit to add; I have read everything about it, just wanted some insight from patients.

To sum it up quickly; my step son’s mom is not dealing with her substance abuse and mental health both. She takes an anti-depressant and it doesn’t work in 3 days so she stops taking it. We had custody from age 12yrs old until last month when my SS turned 18 because of these reasons (many more).

As of late she’s posted some stupid stuff about my family. Said she was glad my MIL had cancer bc “she deserves it”.

She had the literal audacity to track down where I work and threaten to come and get me fired. I manage a Sheltie showing/breeding kennel. I’m there 4hrs a day. I told the owner and he laughed. He told me would never fire me lol.

I brainstormed on how I could do something no one would know about but would also be impossible to trace back to me. My best friend suggested that we entered her address and phone number to dozens upon dozens of sites for payday loans, insurance quotes, car dealerships etc etc. Do we went with that.

Nothing wild, just an inconvenience for her but it still makes me laugh thinking about all the spam calls, texts, and mail she’s getting.

Long time lurker, first time poster.

My(36f) husband(36m) went to his parent’s house today to just check in and see how they’re doing.

My MIL was diagnosed with uterine cancer about a year or so ago. After having a hysterectomy and 6 rounds of chemo her scans are now clean!

My FIL has had FOUR heart attacks. They’ve placed a stint and just recently they have him on a heart monitor.

Both have been life long cigarette smokers. And FIL has been told FOUR TIMES NOW to stop drinking energy drinks and smoking cigs.

MIL quit smoking after beating cancer, right? Nope. Wrong.

They usually try to hide it when me and our other family are around. We showed up unannounced and walked in to the garage(this is fine we are always welcome to walk right in without knocking) and caught them smoking cigarettes.

I got super upset (duh) and I told them that if they dgaf about their own health that they need to get their shit together for the grandkids and if they didn’t change they should start planning and saving for their funerals. And then I turned around and walked home.(she lives 2 streets over lol).

My husband said I was too harsh but I feel like this was my last resort of something shitty to make them care about being alive for us.
