Collection time!
Remington is a work in progress still, but i thought maybe a small (cheap and absurdly commen) collection would have its place somewhere on this subreddit
Enjoy! (Most of my children have already been sold btw)

I HATE THE REMINGTON OH MA GAWSH
WHYYY DID REMINGTON HAVE TO BE SO OVERNEGINEERED ;-;
first its a diff spool, then the drawband snaps, then my new one snaps as well???
The carraige doesnt even move anymore despite there being tension (i believe because keys arnt clackjng) since the shift works fine
Its so beautiful and pretty, but holy shit this is a high maintainence machine
Holy heck this is my last remington
u/hemng
Some of my personal favs from my collection
C54 go brrrrrrr!
Yet to do labelling, quite proud of this map!
Feel free for feebcaj
Claim he doesnt know if it works or not, been in storage for the longest time
Whatcha guys think? This wld be like, my 13th machine? And would be my largest investment yet
Worth it? (Im in Singapore, for context)
Analog worth money? Or nah?
Story time: (skip if u have no time)
I had a long long long time ago, a server on Minecraft (this is important) with my friends. But we played it as a nation builder and had a cool empire and rival kingdoms and railways stretching some 2000 blocks.
Can I redo that on paper?
Important part:
What are some cool features i should do? How to do it properly?
Anyone have village names or city names? Country names?
I want the theme to be a 1890s 1900s kind of world building.
Pencil? Pen? Watercolour? Highlighter? Oh im so excited...
Im new to this subreddit btw, did many fictional city maps and real maps, but not so sure on any larger scales.
Last page of book 5, OG percy jackson series
Just re read it, and I think it made me very happy, hence I think all of you guys should too, be happy
The photos were taken when I was diagnosing the machine, hence the casing is off the body, its a full metal casing (1960s V1 of the studio 46)
The machine as a whole works fine, only issue is that the carraige will always move left, and I cant access the insides of the machine to check the margain release because its DIRECTLY UNDER THE CARRAIGE, and the cartaige is WELDED SHUT AT BOTH ENDS!!!
Should I keep it to cannibalise for parts? (Since I repair typewriters as well) or should I sell it as defective?
I last read PJO and HOO about 6 years ago, ive also read the trilogy for Kane Chronicles, but im extremely confused by what is currently happening and which book goes to where. If anyone could catch me up to speed on what is going on that would be great.
I also suddenly saw a book 6 and 7 for the PJO???? Wuh
Before and after!
Took way too long, but it was the only way I could ever afford an Olympia De Luxe XD
Hope this serves to inspire! Fell free to ask for tips ;)
