Starting Medicare

It's time to get my husband on Medicare, and we want to make sure we don't make a mistake, so I have a question. He is currently employed, has insurance through a large employer, became eligible for VA in July (long story), has an HSA, and turned 65 in January 2026. We have decided to drop his insurance/HSA on December 31, 2026. Then, enroll him in Medicare Parts A, B, and D on July 1, 2027. Will that cause us any penalties?

Hot Dog

Just shortly after we put it on the floor, she crawled in. I love my little hot dog.

Peekaboo, I See You!

That's my bed!! Gilda, the orange cat, would like her sister, Charlie, the sassy dauchund, to get out of her bed. All Charlie wants to do is play peekaboo
