Thinking about moving into dairy - What are good, bad and ugly about dairy?

I've been doing sheep (and a bit of beef) work on-and-off for the last two years and I've really enjoyed it but the job instability with it mostly being seasonal work is stressful. I'm also having some trouble with my elbow joint and I think turning sheep constantly isn't helping. I'm thinking of trying dairy work - ideally a GFW role.

What do you dairy fellows have to say about dairy? Tell me everything - share your wisdom with me.

What are some of the great things about working at RM?

I'm a new entrant and I see a fair bit of negativity on here (understandable from what I know), so I thought I'd ask, what are some of the good things / perks of working at RM?

New to the job - can somebody explain the upcoming changes?

As per the title, I'm new (1mth in) and I'm hearing things here and there about changes coming in over the next few months but I'm not sure I'm fully understanding what's going on. Can somebody ELI5 the changes?

Also, what's the issue with new entry contracts vs legacy contracts all about?

2004 Honda CR-V fault codes

Just wondering whether anyone has advice or has had something similar. I have a 2004 Honda CR-V 2.2 diesel. Every few months I get EML and the car goes into limp mode.

The codes are P1248, P2138, P2122. The garage I bought it from has changed the accelerator pedal position sensor three times but this does not seem to cure the problem. The last twice I've just cleared the fault code and it seems fine for 2-3 months.

From research I think it could perhaps be the throttle body position sensor that needs replacing rather than the APP sensor. But I figured I'd seek some advice here.

My partner and I got together last year. We had such a lovely first month together but I'd agreed to a work away job before we got together so I left after a month. It was a big career change for me too - moving from 9 years of office work to farming. We struggled with the distance, long hours and I didn't like who I worked for so I left after 3 months. We had another really lovely month before I then went to work for a quarry. The hours were too long still and we didn't have much time for each other. Our relationship started to suffer at this point, for reasons I'll come to. I tried finding another job but struggled and out of desperation took another work away farm job for a month. I really struggled with stress with the career change, moving between jobs and financial stability, and I feel like I meant I struggled to give my all to the relationship.

One of the biggest issues however, was that I am friends with an ex. We were close friends and while she thought she was ok with it, I don't think she expected us to be such close friends. We spoke multiple times a week and had catch-ups etc - we were best friends. My partner laid out boundaries; no 1-1 etc. I slipped up and met with my ex on the way home and broke other boundaries too when they were tightened. I think it caused my partner to lose trust and we struggled. I eventually cut the ex off but I think it was a bit late and even the mention of her name etc would trigger her. We tried things differently and decided to try to embrace the friendship but that didn't work either. She had nightmares and suffered anxiety around it.

We also suffer with poor communication in conflict. Our arguments escalate and escalate. We'd break up often because of that. I think I have an anxious attachment style and she has a fearful-avoidant attachment style, which makes things difficult for us.

Saying that, we love it each other very much and there are so many good things about the relationship. We get on so well - our personalities just click. We have such a similar picture of what we want from life. Our values are similar. We both want similar things from each other and we both want to be the right people for each other. We have great sex and intimacy. We want to uplift each other.

Do you think fixing our relationship could be possible? I wonder if I'm being unrealistic. We've broken up but I think we both care deeply about each other and want things to work out

I'm willing to give up my friendship with my ex, and I'm also trying to get my old office job back for stability. I'll have money for therapy to work on myself that way.
