shoulder question

shoulder question

Just got these two veg tan shoulders from weaver in. The bottom one looks normal but it’s my first time buying this large amount of leather. Is this how a normal single shoulder should appear? Kinda confused by the random deep v cut and the corner at the bottom cut. Did I get sold scrap or?

PBJ Sizing advice

Going to buy a pair of Pure Blue Japan slim tapered 013 cut. I usually wear a 32 in naked and famous super guys and they stretch to 33.5 ish. Should I do this with Pbj? Not sure how much stretch to expect. Buying one wash (32.5) and they were 34 raw. Is this a good idea or should I just buy a 33 (33.1)?

Help taking the plunge

So I’m looking for help making the switch to Japanese brands. Been wearing naked and famous for a few years now. Since then they’ve phased out the cut I like and I’ve been wanting to branch out. Specifically the PBJ teacore denim, I’m really drawn to that brand in general, along with Studio dartisan, Oni, Samurai. I prefer a slimmer thigh with a good taper from the knee so advice on cuts would be great. Just am having trouble clicking the buy button on 392 dollar denim when I’m used to buying ~200 denim. I know in the US we pay a premium but is the difference in quality really worth the extra money?

Dead super guy

With the apparent execution of the super guy cut (None of the mij and I really wanted the mij18) I’m stuck at a cross roads. Do I just move to Japanese brands with slimmer cuts or is there a cut at N&f that is closely comparable. I like a strong taper from the knee and not ridiculously baggy thighs. I’ve always been able to size super guys to be just right not too tight/baggy. So I guess looking for advice/suggestions. Was thinking my closest would be weird or easy guy?

First attempt

Here’s my first attempt at a saddle stitch. Had to sew a replacement patch on my jeans. Wasnt too sure how to end the stitch so just back stitched. Think I need to slow down and stop rushing myself. Ive always worked in industries where the faster you move the better. Think this hobby would assist me in chilling out (it literally will not let me use the word ”he lp”?) Hope that’s still something we can ask for in this sub lol? Appreciate any feedback. Everyone have a great day!
