Hi everyone,
I'm looking for girls who are starting at UTS in july and are interested in renting a place together from July.
A little about me:
I'm 23 years old and moving from New Delhi, India, to start my Master's at UTS.
I'm clean, respectful, easygoing, and like to keep shared spaces tidy.
I enjoy makeup and pop music, and I'll mostly be focused on my studies while also exploring Sydney.
I'm hoping to find like-minded girls to share a house or apartment with.
Preferences:
All-female house share.
Budget: Around AUD $300 per week.
Preferred areas: Surry Hills, Ultimo, Chippendale, Haymarket, Pyrmont, or anywhere with easy access to UTS.
If you're also looking for housemates or would like to search for a place together, please send me a message. I'd love to connect!

Had my GS interview call for my Australian student visa/UTS application and overall I think it went well. I was able to justify my funds, explain who is sponsoring me, and also clearly explain why I plan to return to India after studies.
But I'm overthinking two things:
She asked me how much it costs to live in Australia for a year and I said around 75k AUD overall, but later I checked my offer letter and it mentions around 87k AUD. Will this difference negatively affect my approval?
She asked me where University of Technology Sydney is located. I said Sydney, New South Wales. She then said "that's a state, so how will you reach your university and accommodation?" I explained public transport, cabs, etc. but I'm wondering if that answer sounded weak.
Also, she didn't ask me anything about future job roles, career plans, or long-term goals. Is that usually a good sign or bad sign?
Would appreciate hearing from anyone who has gone through a GS interview recently.
