Marvel's history of trailer misdirection: Are they airbrushing someone out of the new group shot?

We all know Marvel Studios is the absolute king of digitally editing trailer footage to hide major spoilers...from editing out Tobey and Andrew in No Way Home, Cap's broken shield, to adding the Hulk in Wakanda for Infinity War, to swapping suits and hiding Infinity Stones.

Looking at this shot of the team gathered together, the framing and spacing feel slightly off. There are pretty awkward gaps (like between Reed/Sue and Johnny/Ben, or on the far right edge near Thor) where the blocking leaves just enough room for a character to be standing.

Given their track record with CGI cover-ups to protect big reveals, do you think Marvel digitally removed someone from this scene for the trailer? If so, who do you think is standing in those gaps?

Heard there is man in green suit calling himself to be the strongest MARVEL villain

Enter the God of the Symbiotes. ⚔️🖤

Kang can mess with timelines, and Doom can play his political games... but Knull literally predates the universe and slays Celestials for fun.

If Sony and Marvel actually let him go full power, nobody in the current MCU is surviving this man.

What do you guys think? Does Knull take down the top-tier MCU villains, or are we overhyping comic-accurate power levels?

Marvel’s strategy for the post-Secret Wars era is actually Brilliant!

Looking at the fan concepts/rumors for the 2028 lineup (X-Men, Ghost Rider, Black Panther 3), it feels like Marvel Studios is taking a completely different approach compared to Phase 4.

Instead of hitting the "hard reset" button after Doomsday and Secret Wars...which is what threw a lot of general audiences off post-Endgame...they seem to be setting up 2028 as an immediate continuation of the hype.

By planting these seeds early, it keeps the momentum alive so it doesn't feel like we're starting all over from zero. What do you guys think? Is this the right way to transition into the next saga?

I swear if Doom gets defeated by the power of friendship and love

MCU writers, I am begging you: do NOT let Doom lose to a pep talk and a dance-off. 😭🖐️

Marvel planning a soft reboot for the mcu after secret wars and THE CAST IS SO PEAK 🙌

I'm so excited!!

Next Marvel will expand the cast as it has to bring Magneto, Mystique, Beast, Wolverine and other X-men too. and then we will get movies with villains.

This is what I expect, and what I need is them to develop some Avengers movies too and show how they don't like the way X-Men get their work done, similar to Cap and Tony differences which we can see in 2012, AoU and finally civil war, so we can get an Avengers vs X-Men movie too. and in between, we will get our Ghost rider too so theoretically, a Midnight Suns movie too. What I think is Marvel should avoid some bigger threats like Thanos or Doom for the next 5-6 years to set up the stage for the upcoming cast.

They can have threats like we had Ultron or Loki whose effects can be seen but not cosmic or multiversal level threats

What tropes are instant Deal-Breakers for you that you don't even think twice??

I’ve realized lately that my "Plan to Watch" list is getting smaller because I’ve become so picky about tropes... There are some plot points that, the moment I read them in a synopsis, I immediately say "no, that’s not for me" and skip it... even if the whole world is calling it a masterpiece.

 Here are my deal-breakers:

* Historical (Sageuk) Romances: I just can’t do it. No matter how high the production value is, I avoid almost every historical romantic drama. The vibes just don't click for me.

* The "Professional" Fatigue (Doctors/office/Lawyers): I feel like every other drama is about a genius surgeon or a cold-hearted lawyer. Unless the plot is ground breakingly different, seeing a blazer and black coat or a courtroom in the poster is an instant skip. And those office romances.. Ugh!

* Unnecessary Love Triangles: Life is stressful enough without watching a Second Male Lead get his heart broken for 16 episodes while the FL is clearly destined for the ML since episode 1. It feels like filler at this point. And I hate when FL gives equal hopes to both ML and SML.... That annoys me so much. Why you have to give false hope to someone you don't even want to end up at last.

* Sad Endings & Forced Trauma: I watch dramas to relax, not to be emotionally destroyed. If I hear a drama has a tragic ending or "K-trauma" just for the sake of being "deep," I’m out.

* The "Ultra-Rich" Leads: I find it hard to relate to stories where both leads are essentially royalty or chaebols. I recently skipped The Perfect Crown for this exact reason. If there’s no "normal" person struggling, I lose interest.

* Noble Idiocy: When one lead breaks up with the other "for their own good" without explaining anything... in 2026? We have phones. Just talk to each other!

* The 2-Year Time Jump Separation: When they finally get together in episode 15, only for one to move to America for two years in the last ten minutes of the show. It ruins the momentum every single time.

* Those idiotic childhood love or childhood connections.

* And lastly some actors/actress that I don't like.

I know I’m probably missing out on some "classics," but I’d rather watch something that fits my taste than force myself through a trope I hate.

What about you guys? What’s that one trope that makes you drop a drama before you even press play?

Kim Mu-yeol’s Teach You a Lesson energy in a Subway is the funniest thing I’ve seen all week.😭

So I was scrolling YouTube and saw this Subway Korea’s new high-protein video starring Kim Mu-yeol, and I genuinely can't stop laughing. 😂😭

If you’ve been watching Netflix’s Teach You a Lesson, you know Kim Mu-yeol plays Na Hwa-jin...the unhinged inspector who fixes problems with his fists. Subway took that exact same intense action energy and dialed it up to 1000 for a sandwich ad.🤣

We all know Subway is the undisputed king of Korean Drama PPL (Goblin, Crash Landing on You, Descendants of the Sun), and now Teach You a Lesson!! This made my day cause the drama is my favorite of 2026!

I'm Bored: Describe a K-Drama in emojis only and let us guess! 🙈🍿🎭🎮

Hey everyone!! stuck on a lazy afternoon and figured it’s time for a little interactive game to pass the time with fellow drama addicts 😭

 How to play:

1. Drop a K-drama title using ONLY emojis (or a sequence of emojis describing the main plot/vibes/specific scenes).

2. Look at other people’s comments and try to guess theirs without spoiling it in plain text right away (use spoiler tags if you’re confirming!). Use standard spoiler formatting (>!text!<) so the fun isn't ruined for others!

3. Try to make it ridiculously hard or hilariously literal.

Drop yours below and let’s see who actually knows their dramas inside out!! I’ll be replying to guesses as they come in too. 🥳✨

Would you date a K-drama actor/actress? Where do you draw the line? [Hypothetical-Fun Question]

(Lets not mention any name of any actors/actresses)

So, I’ve been having this discussion with a few people lately, and the opinions seem split right down the middle. I’m curious to see what this sub thinks.

On one hand, some people say they’d be totally fine with it. At the end of the day, it’s just a job. They’re getting paid well, they’re professionals, and everything on screen is choreographed and fake. It’s just acting, and you get to support their success.

On the other hand, a lot of people say they couldn't handle it. Even if it’s "just acting," they are still kissing another person multiple times, spending 14+ hours a day on set with them, and filming intimate bed scenes in some case nudity included with intense scenes. The level of "emotional labor" and physical proximity would be a dealbreaker for some.

The Hypothetical Question:

If you were in a relationship with a rising or established actor/actress, could you honestly separate the "job" from the "intimacy"? Or would the constant "romance" with co-stars be too much for you to watch?

Let me know if you could do it or not!

What’s a super popular K-drama that everyone loves but you just don’t feel like watching (or you dropped halfway)?

Not a bad drama. Not overhyped for no reason. Just one that everyone praises… but you personally don’t feel like watching or continuing.

For me, it’s 2521,Something in the rain, Mr. Sunshine, Descendants of the Sun, Goblin, Suspicious Partner, Boys Over Flowers, Cofee Prince, Reply 1988, My Liberation Notes, Nevertheless, hotel del luna, penthouse, Every historical kdrama..

And all really popular back in the day, sadly couldn't get into any of it.

I have dropped these on the early episodes and mostly avoid watching them, yes I get FOMO sometimes but nah.. I'm not watching these dramas anyway. So I keep avoiding these dramas related posts and discussions. Just scroll by it.

If I’m going to invest 16 episodes into characters, I know I’ll get attached. And going in already knowing it ends in a bittersweet way just makes me not want to start at all. It feels like setting myself up for emotional damage.

So yeah, that’s mine.

Which popular K-drama did you drop? And avoid watching it no matter how much it's good and even people recommend them as a masterpiece??

What is one MCU scene that still gives you chills no matter how many times you rewatch it?

No matter how many new projects come out, certain cinematic moments in the MCU hit with insane emotional weight, perfection in score, or pure epic visuals.

Which scene is an immediate 10/10 rewatch for you every single time?
