A1 この音の原因はなんだと思う?

 数日前からA1で印刷する際に、変な音がまだします。
結構大きな音です。

原因として何が考えられますか?
特に細かく動く時に音が鳴っている気がします。

Features I'd like to see in FileMaker right now

Will FileMaker 2026 be able to generate scripts using AI in the future?

I think the priority should be the ability to directly copy and paste scripts on both Windows and Mac.

I want to be able to paste and use source code written by senior engineers with many times more experience than AI-generated scripts, and I want to be able to easily ask for advice on where the code itself is wrong.

Even if direct copy and paste isn't possible, couldn't a conversion function be implemented?

If such a service already exists, please let me know.

Idea for H2C + multiple AMS setups: a filament pre-staging buffer to reduce swap time

For H2C users, especially those using multiple AMS 2 Pro units, I think there may be a big opportunity to reduce filament change time.

Right now, when switching filaments, the printer usually has to retract the current filament a long distance and then load the next one. In multi-color or multi-material prints with many swaps, this adds up to a lot of wasted time.

My idea is to add an intermediate switching or buffer unit between the AMS units and the printer.

The concept would be:

While one filament is being used for printing, the next filament could already be prepared and staged inside the buffer.

Then, when the printer needs to switch filament, it would only need to retract the current filament a short distance before switching to the already-staged next filament.

After that, the previously used filament could be retracted and prepared in the background while the printer continues printing with the new filament.

In other words, instead of doing the entire unload/load process during the actual filament change, part of that process could happen in advance or in the background.

I feel like this could significantly reduce the waiting time during filament swaps, especially on H2C setups with multiple AMS 2 Pro units.

This idea could also be useful for a future AMS 3 Pro. Instead of having only one shared filament path, AMS 3 Pro could potentially have multiple internal paths so that one filament is printing while another filament is already staged and ready.

What do you all think?

Is this mechanically realistic, or are there issues I’m overlooking, such as filament tension, purge timing, sensors, or synchronization?

I feel like filament pre-staging might be a surprisingly overlooked area for improving multi-color print speed. If many H2C users agree, I would love for Bambu Lab to consider developing something like this.

Could a multi-path AMS dramatically reduce filament change time?

If Bambu Lab ever releases an AMS 3 Pro, I would love to see a system with multiple filament paths instead of only one shared path.

The idea is simple:

While one filament is currently being used for printing, the next filament could already be prepared and staged in a separate path.

Then, when a filament change is needed, the printer would not have to fully retract the current filament all the way back through the AMS path. Instead, it could retract it only a short distance, switch to the already-staged filament, and continue printing much faster.

At the same time, the filament that was just used could be moved back and prepared for its next use in the background.

Even this alone seems like it could reduce filament change time quite a lot, especially for multi-color prints with frequent swaps.

Also, even without waiting for an AMS 3, I think Bambu Lab could develop an intermediate switching/buffer unit for systems like the H2C or setups with multiple AMS 2 Pro units. This part could handle filament standby and switching between AMS units, reducing the long retract/load cycle we currently have.

What do you all think about this idea?

I feel like this might be a surprisingly overlooked area for improvement. If many users agree, I would really love for Bambu Lab to consider developing something like this in the future.
