Owen sighting

How did someone supposedly see her in Atlanta on Saturday if she was at a wedding in/near St Louis on Friday lol. I thought she drove home for the wedding… would she have been back in time?

Or is this person a plant pretending that their relationship is still fine?

No way 😭

Someone on here literally made a whole post about how she should get her life together and here we are… I don’t think this girl has ever had an original thought.

Facial Sweating

I am unfortunately afflicted with really bad facial sweating :(

Even just going for a walk the sweat will start beading on my face and if I do anything more than a light jog I’ll be dripping.

I don’t know if it’s hyperhidrosis because I’ve never consulted a doctor about it before and it never happens indoors at rest, just as soon as I start anything even mildly active. Or basically anytime I’m outside during summer lol.

Are there any tried and tested products for preventing facial sweat? I feel like anything topical will just make things worse because anytime I try to use sunscreen it melts/sweats off so quickly. It makes me so self conscious and I hate making social plans during warm weather because of it.

What on earth is this outfit 🤢

Looks like something I would’ve worn to dance class as a 5 year old (except we always wore black) 🥲

Qpoints for status retention

Sorry if this info is available online. Hoping it’s quicker to get an answer on here than trying to go through their helpline.

I am currently a silver privilege club member and the website says I need 40 Qpoints by May 2027 to retain my status.

I have about 100 Qpoints expiring in December 2026 - will this affect how many points I will need to retain my status or will it still be 40 regardless?

TIA

Can you imagine….

Comment on her most recent insta video. Please no 🤢

Mind you, that would give her automatic content for the foreseeable future! Needlepoint phase is well and truly over, Coco phase seems to be over as well, the car is already decorated so there can’t be much more content there…

Post-infusion alcohol intolerance?

I had a 1400mg Monofer infusion on June 9th.

Before the infusion I could drink alcohol normally, though I wasn’t a heavy or regular drinker.

About 11 days after the infusion I developed immediate flushing, hot ears, red itchy face and neck after just a few sips of a margarita. A week later it happened again with less than a quarter of a cider. It settled within about 30-45 minutes and I had no breathing/swelling issues.

Had anyone else had this happen? Is it because of the infusion or have I just completely coincidentally developed an alcohol intolerance? 😅

Pathways beyond the lab

What have people pivoted into after a few years in the lab? And how did you get into that?

I’m currently employed as a chemist in the quality department for a global pharma company, but I know that the lab isn’t where I want to be for my whole career. Just not sure what the next steps will look like.

Monofer side effects

I had a 1400mg infusion of Monofer in one hit on Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday I just felt the same as normal (aka like shit lol) and then Friday morning I had the worst headache for hours which eventually progressed into body aches.

Woke up in the middle of Friday night with body aches, headache, fever 38°C, exhaustion. Saturday morning I was okay, although had persistent stomach pain, but then Saturday night went through the same thing, fever 38.2°C, took me half an hour to get out of bed to go to the toilet because I was so exhausted, felt nauseous so didn’t take pain relief for fear of throwing it straight back up. Woke up drenched in sweat around 5-6am. Sunday (today) morning I was okay again, just tired and had a headache and the stomach pain was still there. Then this afternoon I had mild chills again and quite an achy neck, bad headache, stomach pain worsening. Haven’t been able to eat or drink much at all this weekend. Also had diarrhoea this afternoon and almost threw up at the same time 🤢 was sweating bullets and shaking so bad.

I’m guessing this is just all part of the iron flu?
I feel like shit but i don’t know if there’s any point calling the clinic or going to urgent care because they’ll probably just say to go home and rest.

Can anemia amplify mental health issues?

Hey all, had bloods done last week (pictures attached). Obviously not great lol. I’m booked in for a 1500mg infusion of Monofer in a couple days’ time.

I want to know people’s experiences with anemia amplifying things like depression and anxiety?

I started a new job 3 months ago, and I always knew it wasn’t the job I wanted to be in long term but it was the only offer I had at the time, but I am STRUGGLING. I hate the job. I am on the verge of crying almost daily. I feel so awkward there, like an imposter. The thought of going grocery shopping to buy food to eat at the place that I hate going to is just exhausting and I end up not buying any food and then eating crap (which obviously is a self-fulfilling cycle of poor nutrition -> tired). I spend basically every Sunday in bed dreading the thought of going back to work. But I’m too tired to look for another job.

I have all the classic depression systems. When I accepted this job I thought to myself “I only have to stay 12 months for the experience and then I can go travelling” but I literally feel nauseous at the thought of going to work and I just can’t keep doing this.

But I really can’t separate what is the anaemia vs what is the job? I guess I will have to give the infusion 4-6 weeks to see if it works and I feel better about things 😔
