Do Yall pull up for Austin FC 2 games as well 👀?

My dad (who doesn’t live here) has been wanting me to go check out the second division games and I’m curious to know if anyone actually goes? I’d have to assume so since it seems like there’s a lot of regulars at the first division games

Is today another violet game?

Was wondering if the violet jerseys would be used for the rest of the leagues cup 👀
If so are we trying to go full violet this time?

Supporters section Questions as a newbie

Austin FC became a thing while I was living abroad so the Club America game was my introduction to the culture and I had a blast.
When it comes to the supporters section, what are we allowed to bring to the stadium? Are personal instruments allowed? Signs, acoustic megaphones, etc.?
If not then how do I become part of the drumline as a drummer myself?

First Austin FC experience

Went to my first Austin FC game last night and just wanted to say it was fun as hell! I opted for the supporter section because I enjoy going all out at sporting events and I’ll definitely be back Sunday. I hope to see a fully packed supporter section someday 💚

The Garner of today

So I just went to Garner yesterday for the first time since the pre Covid era (I wasn’t living in Texas for many years) and I couldn’t help but notice a big cultural shift in what goes down at the park especially in the river.
Growing up garner always seemed to be more of a laid back family oriented spot but now it feels like a wild party spot similar to how inks lake was when I was a kid (I’m 27.
It doesn’t make it harder to have fun (particularly in the river) but it makes it difficult to enjoy the nature aspect of garner when you have tons of full volume speakers playing a million Different genres of music all at once, walls of people sitting in their camping chairs in the middle of the river, and drunk antics going on etc.

This post isn’t about complaining, I’m saying all of this to bring up a conversation but to also ask if this is really the new norm?
I’m hoping this is experience is just due to the fact that it’s peak summer season because I’d hate for one of my favorite places to be like this year round.

“They’re too old”

I don’t think age has anything to do with the lack of creativity in the new “stunts” at some point the crew lost the plot (I started to notice it in jackass forever). I wonder how much the lack of bam has to do with the lack of creativity? Is there just one person making all the ideas now?
Obviously they don’t have to get wrecked but why are so many of the bits or “stunts” just sticking something in or pushing something out of a butthole or getting shocked or look at how grossly fat Zack is
I grew up watching jackass and I feel like the grossness wasn’t really what carried the show it was just part of the overall antics but it seems to be the crutch for the crew now.
And before some old head says “lol someone didn’t watch CKY”, yes poop related bits have always been apart of the overall plot at least they had some sort of comedic components to them.
I didn’t find the Steve O “stunt” in best and last funny at all like there was literally nothing creative or funny about it it was just nasty

They were so confident about a sweep and now look at them begging for a suspension 😭

Honestly even if Wemby were to get suspended for a game the Knicks fans shouldn’t want that for 3 reasons:

  1. A wembyless win will forever be remembered as lame in the same way okc got the Halliburton injury win
  2. If the spurs were to win without Wemby it makes them look worse
  3. If Wemby got suspended it’s low key just extra rest and motivation to comeback from 3-1 which would make them look EVEN WORSE

Big brother vs Thrasher

Curious to see what the old heads think about this since I’m not old enough to remember big brother.
Which one do you think was better?

Downvote if you want but Mitch Johnson got destroyed in this coaching battle

You can sit here and talk about the Wemby turnover or what player did what blah blah blah. Mike brown was coaching circles around Mitch. The games are made so much more difficult for the boys when they basically just have to will themselves to a win. And before you say it this isn’t just based off of one game this is a constant this post season.
The Knicks are good and they know what works and their coach makes adjustments and has great rotations.
That stretch in the 3rd and early in the 4th where the knicks built a lead with no Brunson or Kat was the biggest example of Mitch just letting things get out of hand for no reason at all.

Before yall start panicking

This was just an off night by most of the roster. If things were clicking this would’ve been a double digit win easily. Knicks just made more shots when it mattered

The gaslighting is crazy

Sorry for beating a dead horse because game 2 is in the past but it’s insane to see the attempt to gaslight basketball fans into believing that the way Wemby has been “defended” is just “physical play”.
After Charles Barkley went as far as to say that it’s not even physical play, I went back and watched playoff/finals games from the 80’s and 90’s and didn’t see one time where a player was getting wrapped up with both arms or being restricted from moving from being held. Not even the bad boys pistons because it’s NOT physical play it’s bullshit and the league knows it.
Also noticed how there wasn’t a single peep about the hair pull yet the Wemby elbow was national news with calls for suspension.
Just wanted to get this off my chest

Why does Mitch waste challenges on the most obvious fouls

I swear he has some of the worst challenges I’ve ever seen and then when we legitimately need one we don’t have it
