Pro search & social buyer... newbie programtic/ctv buyer - need help

Howdy - quite versed in social and search buying, with 10 years of experience, currently managing a little over $1 million a month on social alone.

I own and run a business in the telehealth space, and a close competitor has posted articles on how successful they've been on CTV, which has certainly piqued my interest, given how successful we've been thus far on social. We don't have massive budgets yet for other platforms outside of social (maybe $50K a month to start). I've heard mixed reviews about self-serve platforms like Vibe and MNTN.

Given we're not dropping millions a month and ultimately need both strong attribution and decent ROAS / direct response, (not just brand awareness) are there any platforms or avenues you guys would suggest? Appreciate all the help and guidance.

Excluding Washington State for more favorable approvals?

For those in the sensitive niche's like health and wellness, gambling, etc (myself - ED), anyone ever hear of excluding Washington State for more favorable ad approvals? A buddy deep in the media buying space mentioned its a thing - curious if anyone has tested this

Dead? (Sad) Typhon 6s - PLEASE HELP (new to the space)

What's up guys - just picked up a used typhon 6s on fbmp. Thing absolutely rips.. Well it did.

It had the speed gear in it. This morning went to the park with my dog and ripped it for 15-20 min in the dirt and grass. Last run it slowed down noticeably then died. Figured it was the battery. Motor was pretty hot.. figured thats expected.

However I plugged it into the charger and it was only at 45% which i thought was weird. Again I'm new to the lipo rc world so I hit up claude, sent some photos of the smart charger, amps, volts, etc and it said the battery is perfectly health.

Later in the day I went for another rip on a hiking trail for again about 15-20 minutes. Same thing... slowed a bit then died. Steering was working though - just no throttle.

ESC is slow blinking red. I tried the following:

- unplug steering servo to rule out a dragging servo (tried to fire up again. Nope)

- unplug throttle wire from receiver box (tried to fire up again. Nope)

- unplug motor pins (tried to fire up again. Nope)

- Reset throttle setting on remote multiple times (tried to fire up again. Nope)

- Reset esc by holding down "set", holding down "set" then power on, and every other combo (tried to fire up again. Nope)

Steering still works. Just no chimes, not dif sequencing, no throttle.

(battery fully charged)

One thing I don't recall and excuse my ignorance but I don't think the ESC fan ever ran. I took videos of the car and never heard anything other than the steering servo.

Did i cook the ESC?

Did i put too much load on the car by running the speed gear offroad? (Ordered the regular 16 tooth 2 days ago..)

Is my ESC Cooked and will a simple replacement fix it?

Oh also theres this plug coming off the fan but i can't for the life of me figure out where it goes. It comes off a wire connected to the esc almost like a splitter. Is that the culprit?

Anyways if youre still reading...thank you. Any help is much appreciated!

CALLING ALL SENIOR TELEHEALTH BUYERS...IN HEALTH & WELLNESS CATEGORY

Any serious buyers with a lot of telehealth experience here? Running into an absolute ballache with tracking & category restrictions. Need to bounce some ideas off someone whos been down this path before (legit script, whitelisted accounts, payload cleanliness, custom events vs purchase events, etc)

Cheers

Launched a new telehealth brand... $650 CPMS LOL

(Very seasoned buyer) 2 friends/partners and I launched a new business this month. Just launched some video ads this week and CPMs have me LOLing. $650... I've worked in some very restricted industries like betting and ED but nothing comes close to these CPMs. Meanwhile meta's ads algo is burning to the ground.

Keep in mind 100% broad, m/f, all of us, domain verified, decent spend last 4 weeks (300-500/day), etc.

Looks like meta wants to keep new businesses out all while stealing money from current businesses when they have outages every other day.

Anyways! Happy hunting

Aspect Ratios... Whatcha doing?

Age old dance with aspect ratios continues. The March rollout has me all over the place with ratios, padding, hard safe zones, soft safe zones, blah blah blah.

9:16 with all key elements in the safe zone so it can be cropped to 1:1 sounds good in theory but is nearly impossible to make a good looking ad with such heavy safe zones. All key content is so compressed and creates tones of negative space on the top and bottom of 9:16s. And a 9:16 has to be designed with the 4:5 auto crop in mind or that gets cut on key placements.

4:5 looks best on feed but has the black bars on reels/stories, etc. Also still requires a 1:1 crop in most cases.

1:1 still seems useful just to keep those placements clean but needs either 4:5 or 9:16 to support.

THE QUESTION - To minimize size variants, any suggestions on ratio(s) + safe zones?
