Cheating on MATH2801?

Somebody (Seems like the cheating service agent) posted on the Chinese social media called “Rednote” that they assisted student to capture the exam paper during the exam by using micro camera. Heard it happened last term at usyd but I never expect it could happen again at UNSW. It’s hilarious and totally not fair to our other students.🤷‍♂️

PHYS1160 Report is so cooked this term

Pretty sure this was a very easy HD at least until last term. Don’t know the reason why they changed the short report requirement and topics, also the marking result is soooo cooked!
Having seen a lot of people got 100 for this report before, why they are only giving credit range from now on?
Anybody else doing this course now as well? How’s it going so far?

Any recommendations for first year CS or engineering courses?

I’m a business student, just interested in these areas, so I wanna take them as electives. Since I’m not really a technical person, so any recommendations of some easy courses? (Would be better without finals) thx

We are complaining the ECON2101 EXAM

This final was the computer-based hand-typing exam format. Since the course involves a large amount of mathematical working and calculations, I believe we all felt that typing everything significantly slowed down the process and made the exam extremely time pressured.

So far, around 10 students have already emailed the LIC/course coordinator regarding concerns about the computer-based exam format and the lack of sufficient time to properly finish the exam.

If you genuinely experienced similar issues, it may be worth respectfully emailing the LIC as well to share your feedback and request scaling up.

The more students who independently provide constructive feedback, the more likely our request is to be seriously considered.

Please keep emails polite and professional.
