MCCYN question!

My husband will be joining USCG this winter and I can't find specific answers on the Military Childcare website, and I feel it might be too early to bother the MCCYN phone line since he is not officially active duty yet.

Our recruiter said we can secure the Northwest district for our first PCS, which is what we want since all our family lives up here and it would be a better transition for us. The only concern is that some of these bases are remote (Neah Bay) or just isolated with extremely limited childcare centers. My only concern is that I won't find a daycare center that accepts MCCYN, since I know there aren't any onsite CDC.

What exactly happens if you can't find a daycare center that accepts MCCYN in your new location? Do you just suck it up and pay the full price of whatever daycare is available for that area until you move again? Can they help in any way in these situations?

Note: I work for the FAA and will be the highest income provider while my husband is a recruit, so quitting my job to be the SAHP is not an option. Also to add, I'm expecting us to be stationed in some kind of isolated area during his career. Thankfully I get to work remote and I understand this is the nature of the USCG, it's just daycare that's worrying me!

Coochie out during tattoo

Got a tattoo on my calf today from my regular artist who I've seen for 4-5 years. Chill guy, not creepy in any way shape or form, also happily married, but that might have just been the last time I see him out of sheer embarrassment.

I wore the wrong pants to the visit. Too baggy and light colored to risk ink stains, so I was like "no biggie! I have gym shorts in my car!" Ran out and changed, sat through the entire 4 hour visit, then when I got home I got curious and bent over in the mirror because I truly did feel a little exposed during the appointment.... Immediate regret. These stupid gym shorts literally outline my ENTIRE cooter. I'm talking camel toe from the back with HD/HDR/4k visuals of my folded laundry, not to mention the color of the shorts are literally a tan color. And of course there is a little diamond thing stitched into that area so it just makes it look even more pronounced (and I swear the fabric is also just thinner right there!?). To top it all off, I laid on my stomach the whole time with my backside facing the door so every other tattoo artist and client could catch a glimpse of my fabric sculpted work of art. I'm cringing so hard. I'm sure he noticed and was like "whoop anyway" and kept his gaze down, but still can't stop the embarrassment right now.

Plus I know tattoo artists literally tattoo genitalia and all over bodies every day, but I don't think he was expecting full frontal from a calf tattoo today. 😂 Ahhhh imma just pass away now.

Edit: Holy cow so many comments. They are definitely supposed to be gym shorts, not shape wear, and I've worn them for a few months in a home gym and out jogging underneath track pants. I think the underside is just really cheaply made and did not have women in mind. (We all know when clothing stitching caters to normal body folds and movement and when it doesn't).

Just wanted to also add that I'm genuinely not mortified or traumatized about it! I think the post just blew up and automatically seems 10x more dramatic. It was just one of those embarrassing clothing mishaps and I had to tell some girls about it. 😅

Art looking too cartoony

Hello I'm new to oil painting! I really love the melty look of oils and my practice has been to take video game and movie scenes and make them look like an oil painting. My issue is that they just end up looking like cartoons. I think the issue is that my lines and outlines are too bold, especially for oils, but when I soften it up it starts to look unfinished and almost like an underpainting. Anyone else have this learning curve when they first started?
