Throwback from a very old screenshot I took in 2013, YouTube knew what they were doing
This was at the time when they split and YouTube took the opportunity

To be honest, I’m not a fan of Spotify as a platform so this might change in the future lol, I mostly tune into her music through YouTube due to her unreleased gems. But whenever I check my Spotify wrapped, I’ve noticed that pink has consistently been my top artist every year. Waiting for the day when I get to watch her concert 💗
lol I live a fairly traditional area and he must have gone crazy wondering why does this girl need 2 printouts of a random lady frame and laminated
Whoever is shitting on it really don’t see the vision. If you are aware of Charlis artistry she has always been an experimental visionary. That’s what she always wanted to be. But sometimes she takes the safe stride to cater to masses but all this while she’s someone who always liked to do things differently. My only complain about this track is why is it so short….
I’m not sure what you guys think about this, but there has been an abhorrent trend in Malayalam music where the vocals sound absolutely atrocious either the guy singing sounds like he’s talking to a fan (Example - baby Jean) or it sounds like the singer is singing with his nose (heart attack from painkili) but the instrumentals are fire and sounds amazing.
The vocals sound super cringe and I’ve been noticing a pattern, we have come a long way in terms of the instrumental and they sound beautiful, but I think we really as a collective need to work on better lyrics and vocals because it sounds like we write gibberish. Don’t get me wrong though. It actually performed really well amongst the masses and they do make a lot of money, so I’m not really sure if that is the reason they continue making such pieces but it would be cool to particularly elevate our vocals. Like how there is sai abhyankar for Tamil music.
And by vocals, I’m intending ones that sound like they hit beautiful notes that sound heavenly almost like you’re transcending into space. I feel we lack that in our industry.
We’ve come a long way in terms of storytelling, direction, art direction, visuals as well as music, but not in vocals. They sound progressively comical as more songs release time after time

Will die on this hill, love all her works but for this one she has poured her heart and soul. The songs are so complex and so well produced it’s like she has legit poured her spirit onto this discography and honestly she deserves to be mainstream. It’s her greatest work yet
