All the teams we have seen are teams that Japan faces in the original story, except for Ghana who I think are replacing Italy. Making Italy a team that you face in the New Star story mode instead.
It’s a little dumb, but think about it. It when from all the Asian teams, Japan face in the otl story, then rest of the world, that Japan face, ending with Brazil.
It could be plausible
In all the trailers we have seen a lot of characters with the same moves as other characters from the last game, some people are worried about this and rightly so,
Still I believe this is only cause they don’t want players looking less cool either basic dribble moves and shot moves (bullet shot). Still I also precive that they haven’t animated all the shots and etc, as in one of the showcase games. All the saudi players had bullet shot, even Vulcan, who definitely should have special shot, had a bullet shot.
So that excluded Misaki, Misugi, Wakabayashi, Nitta from the team. So what’s the lineups, what teams can they beat and who do they lose to?
When we look at the Japanese team showcase in WF, we see that players like Ishida, Nakayama, Honma, Oda, Sawaki, Nakanishi (weirdly cut from the other trailer). I feel their is either going to be a national team camp, in the new star story mode that they will be part of or there is something that happens that makes them part of the main team.
I’m maybe not the best of expressing me but I hope I get my idea across. Still in the end, what I’m trying to say, how are they going to use these players that are not relay utilized otl ?
I have been wondering, how Bandai are gong to put the ability to play as one of your own made characters from the last game, and that is going to change the story.
Like if you went to Germany at the end of the first game, or you go back to Japan to play for Hirado MS and will you then start in a respective high school ?
That also makes us ask the question how will the costumasation in the beginning work, if you don’t perhaps choose a school like the first game?
19 nations have essentially been confirmed, Senegal and Italy is probably going to be part of the game. Then what is the last nation. I’m hoping it’s either going to be a Eastern European, African or Oceanic team

Personal opinion:
I have two take away from this trailer, the first one is that I like how they are using some of the more niche players from the Middle/high school tournaments.
And I’m getting a little worried about how much recycled animation they are using in the trailers, still I believe that they will replace it with original animation soon after, atleast I hope!
The colonel held Elvis back essentially ruined what could have been, forcing him to create void and forgettable music, isolating him from the music industry.
All to benefit himself, the best thing Elvis did was his TV - Special and that was a thing of his own volition. Imagine his career if he had the creative freedom he deserved.
