Vitamin D after jaw fracture — can it help with bone healing?

Hi everyone,
I recently fractured my jaw a few days ago and had splints/wires placed. Since the recovery process is expected to be slow, I’m trying to support bone healing as much as possible with nutrition and supplements.
I’m wondering what people here think about taking vitamin D after a jaw fracture. Can vitamin D actually help stimulate or support bone healing in this kind of situation?
A few questions:
What vitamin D dose would generally make sense after a fracture?
Is it better to check blood levels first, like 25(OH)D?
Should vitamin D be taken together with vitamin K2?
If yes, what amount of K2 is usually recommended, and is there any typical ratio between D3 and K2?
Are there any other supplements that are important for fracture healing, like magnesium, calcium, zinc, vitamin C, collagen, etc.?
I’m not trying to replace medical advice, but I’d like to hear people’s experiences and opinions, especially from anyone who used vitamin D/K2 during bone healing after a fracture.

Looking to Meet a Woman from the EU Who Has HSV-2

Hi everyone,
I’m a 28-year-old man from Europe. I’m tall, black-haired, educated, serious, and looking for an honest connection.

I’m looking to meet a woman from the European Union who also has HSV-2. Because of my situation, I prefer to connect with someone who understands this condition and shares the same experience.

Has anyone tried re-taking the same substance to break the HPPD fear loop?

Has anyone here ever felt stuck in a fear/symptom loop after developing HPPD, and thought that re-taking the same substance might “reset” them or help them get out of it?

I’m not asking for dosage or instructions, and I’m not encouraging anyone to do it. I’m just trying to understand if anyone has actually tried this and what happened afterward.

Did it make your HPPD better, worse, or unchanged? Did it help mentally for a short time but worsen symptoms later? I’m especially interested in honest experiences from people who had visual snow, DP/DR, brain fog, or anxiety around symptoms.

Chronic Burning Tongue & Recurrent Mouth Sores Since COVID — Anyone Else Experiencing This?

Hi everyone, I wanted to share something that has been bothering me for almost 4 years now, because I genuinely still don’t know what’s causing it and I’m wondering if anyone else has gone through something similar.
Everything started after I got COVID for the first time. Since then, I began developing recurrent canker sores and lesions on my tongue, along with a constant burning sensation, almost like my tongue is irritated or “burned.” Sometimes the symptoms are milder, sometimes much worse, but I’ve almost never had a period longer than 10–15 days without symptoms.
I’ve tried pretty much everything:
B vitamin and B12 supplementation,
changing my diet,
cutting out alcohol,
avoiding acidic foods,
tracking possible food triggers,
different supplements and immune-support approaches.
Nothing has brought lasting improvement.
What’s interesting to me is that I strongly feel this may be connected to the immune system. Besides this, I’ve also been dealing with chronic fatigue for years, frequent viral reactivations (HSV), and immune-related issues in general. Oddly enough, during regular colds or infections, some of my symptoms temporarily improve, which has always seemed very strange to me.
I also feel like my tongue is chronically inflamed or hypersensitive — it’s not always a classic canker sore, but more of a persistent burning, stinging, irritated feeling.
Over the years I’ve done various tests, but I still don’t have a clear answer whether this is:
a post-viral issue after COVID,
an immune dysfunction,
a nutrient deficiency,
some type of autoimmune reaction,
MCAS / histamine related,
nerve inflammation,
or something completely different.
I’m curious:
Has anyone experienced something similar after COVID?
Did anyone manage to identify the cause of chronic burning tongue and recurrent sores?
Has anything actually helped?
Any experience or advice would really mean a lot to me, because after 4 years of constantly recurring symptoms, it’s becoming extremely exhausting.
