Animal crossing doesn't work on steam deck

The game starts up but i can't get past the title screen. Also I can't get it to show up on the dolphin main menu. I'm only just getting into emulating so I don't know if I'm doing something wrong.

Also thought I should add that when I load it from the file in desktop mode I press A and I can get past the title screen but once it gets to KK I can't get past that.

Edit- so the game seems to be working now, hopefully, but I still don't know how to put anything in my collection. Also is there any way to put it in fullscreen

You know what just don't ask tech questions and don't be a noob

I'm new to emulating and roms and all that stuff. All I do is ask how to download something and I get downvoted😃

Can anyone help me download that animal crossing port

Trying to follow guides but I literally just can't get it to work, it's not coming up with the same inputs. I'm so confused.

I haven't got a mouse so maybe that's what's messing it up but I don't know.

edit- I think I completely messed it up. when I clicked on animal crossing.exe it wasn't coming up saying add to steam. It came up with a menu of all my applications so I pressed steam and now every time I press that file it opens the steam store. Is there any way of fixing this, because I am just about ready to give up.

By the way I've never done anything like this before, if you somehow couldn't tell already, I've never had a proper PC before so this all confuses me.

Does anyone know how to reset sudo password

I'm not very good with PC stuff, trying to reinstall decky loader and it's asking for the password. I followed a tutorial but I honestly can't remember how I did any of it, so I can't remember the password, please help

I've just looked up how to do it but I don't know what a GRUB menu is

Please help, deck plug in no longer works

I've had decky or whatever it's called installed for a while now but every time I go to the icon now this happens. Does anyone know how I can fix it?
