AITA for wanting to distance myself from a friend who unintentionally makes me feel bad about myself?

I’ve got a great friend who has recently become really active with bouldering, going to the gym, and running. I’ve tried some of these things with him, but he’s much more motivated than I am and has had specific goals in mind, so he’s made a lot of progress. I ended up getting busy with other areas of my life, and even though we started doing some of these things together, he’s come a long way while I haven’t.
Now, whenever we meet, he often talks about all of this: what he’s been doing, how tired he is from it, and all the goals he’s been achieving. Maybe it’s because we started doing these things together, but I haven’t made much progress myself, so I end up feeling really bad about myself.
I’m not very active right now, and even when I try to be, I feel like I’m competing with him and constantly failing by comparison. I definitely feel like I’m being the asshole here, but part of me feels like I should distance myself from him until I feel a bit more confident about myself and where I am in life. Maybe then I won’t feel so bad about myself when I’m around him.

Heights Primary School vs Caversham Primary School

I’m looking to send my daughter to one of these schools. Any parents on here who have any experiences with either of these schools? Would really appreciate any honest reviews!
