29M, divorced, living alone in Chennai. I just want someone to talk to.

I’m a 29-year-old divorced man, living alone in Chennai.

For more than one year, I went through a really hard phase. Only now I’m starting to feel a little better.

There were times when I genuinely felt like I didn’t deserve this life. But somehow, I’m slowly coming out of that phase.

I just want someone to talk to. I don’t even know exactly what I’m looking for.

I can’t really talk to my family, friends, or relatives about these things because whenever I talk to them, they start feeling bad or worried. And sometimes I just feel like telling them, **“*tha, naaney ippo better aagi adhulendhu veliya vandhuten. Innum yen da adhaiye pesi ennaiya noga adikiringa?”

I really need to talk to new people.

It doesn’t have to be anything serious. We don’t even have to share personal stories. We can just talk about random things, movies, series, life, stupid stuff, anything.

My personal story is like Game of Thrones  romba perusu. Thotta kashtam dhaan. 😅

I’ve already seen enough Stranger Things in my life. Inime aachum The Last of Us maari illaama, wonderfools  mathir irundha nalla irukkum.

That’s it. I just want to meet and talk to some new people. Maybe make some friends along the way.

Finally starting a new hobby after months of overthinking.

Living alone changed a lot of my habits. Every night I'd stay awake scrolling on my phone for hours because I couldn't sleep.

I wanted to break that cycle, so I decided to start reading books before bed instead. The funny part is... I spent almost 3 months just trying to decide which book to start with. 😅 I kept wondering, "Will I actually enjoy reading? Will this hobby stick?"

Today, I finally stopped overthinking and picked my first book: A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.

As a Game of Thrones fan, this felt like the perfect place to start.

Day 1 of a new hobby. Hopefully, this replaces late-night doomscrolling with something I'll actually remember.

Wish me luck! 📚

I kept running from home. Today, I couldn't anymore

I stayed in Chennai for the last 6 months and kept avoiding going back to my native place because of everything I was dealing with mentally.

Today, I couldn't avoid it anymore.

Reached home around 5:30 PM and just sat outside without saying a word. Then I looked up and saw this view.

For the first time in a long while, I felt a little peace.

Maybe home still knows how to heal us, even when we're broken.
