You serious here Brian?
This one made me snicker.

This one made me snicker.
We are in St Louis which gave us a chance to try clementines for the first time!

We tried most of the summer specials, plus a few others.

Cherry slush: My kids were absolutely wild about the cherry slush. They said it's their favorite ice cream they've ever tried and begged me to order it to our home!

Dr Dirty Soda: I didn't think we'd like this as much as we did but it was warmly spiced and perfect, like a nicely chilled summer drink. My kid mixed it with the cherry to make a sort of cherry coke.

Milkshakes and Fries: this was a light, flavorful chocolate mixed with chocolate covered potato chips. It was REALLY tasty but the chips were hard and didn't really grab the feeling of fries. I'm not complaining though.

Others: the salted caramel cracker was a delight, although points to Holy Cow Ritzy AF for being slightly better in this category.

My husband liked his naughty maple pecan bourbon. He said it was creamy, buttery but with a bite. "Like everything you want maple pecan to be, but more "

Tahini chocolate chip - a satisfying vegan option. A little rich, a little nutty.

The only thing I didn't really like, ironically, was the signature Butter cake which I found so sweet as to be unctuous and the cake was not my favorite texture in ice cream.

I really enjoyed our trip. I think personally, Salt and Straw wins my vote but this was classic and elegant and well made ice cream.

Hi there,
I have a pretty low resting heart rate (probably 55) though I'm not especially in shape right now.
However, last night I woke up with blood rushing into my ears and this overwhelming sense of crushing terror; that I was somehow drowning or suffocating. I assumed it was a panic attack but when my husband took my pulse (using my actual heart, he couldn't get a wrist pulse) my heart rate was 38. I was cold and light headed. It stayed very low, under 50 for about half hour. It rose with some difficulty after I got up and started packing a hospital bag.
I went to the ER and they did blood work, X-rays and put on a monitor. They have said no heart attack but my pulse remains low - 45 or so. Once, I had another episode where I woke up from dozing with the same drowning feeling and I watched the numbers plummet to 35.
They have released me now with advice to see my DR but I'm quite anxious. I don't know why my pulse is so low and if it's dangerous. Any ideas or tests I should request?
Hi there, unclear if this is the right sub but feel free to direct me to someplace better if you have a suggestion!
I weaned my daughter from breastfeeding a month and a half ago. It was an extremely challenging process and frankly, it's been a rough few weeks in general - I had uncomfortable surgery to remove skin cancer and I'm dieting fairly heavily after finally weaning (my weight is pretty okay, I'm just looking to lose 8 pounds).
Now to my question - my period seems to have disappeared.
I had a period during the weaning process but not since. I do not believe I am pregnant. I suppose it's possible I've gone into menopause because I am over 45 but my period was pretty reliable and regular before this.
Anyone have any suggestions or insights? I can reach out to my DR but thought I'd see if anyone has suggestions before I navigate that path.
We are staying at a Home 2suites in Philadelphia and we just received a call telling us there had been noise complaints in our vicinity and wondering if we had heard anything.
We had all been fast asleep, so nope, but after the call my kids woke up so that was great.
Why would they do this? If the noise complaints were so serious, why would they not come up? Were they fishing to see if it was us? I'm so confused.
I want to escalate this; is that reasonable?
We are staying at a Hilton in Philadelphia and received a call from the front desk saying that they'd had noise complaints and asking if we heard anything in our vicinity.
Well, we had been asleep and had heard nothing. But once they called, my children were confused and now awake and then there *was* some noise.
I'm confused - I'm not a reporting service. Why would they not send someone up to check themselves if it was so important? Or were they fishing to see if it was our room that was loud? None of this makes any sense to me.
Should we escalate this to the manager? It seems like such a weird course of action and it made the night much harder for us.
