…With hope it will help me trim their nails! 🤞😮💨😅
Just a good looking Roo 😎 His name is Mr. Fluffy Cheeks.
Both came from the same rescue, two years apart. Koda is our stubby legged eldest, Sadie is the gangly legged little crackhead. They stand at almost the same height. Koda is 50 lbs, Sadie is 15.
We love them. They are great buddies.
Broody jail. Her last hatch had 3/4 roosters. No thanks!! Literally finished raising them and went right back to being broody. 😒
When I finish their bigger coop I may let her raise some guineas for me. 😄
I was walking out of the store with my then 10 year old son with a large bag of ice. We were walking through the parking lot when my arms started aching from the weight and the cold. I complained about it and he asked if I wanted him to carry it for me. I said “No!” slinging it up on my shoulder like you would to burp a baby, “It’s my baby.”
I paused for a second then added, “It’s my *Ice, ice, baby*.
He groaned. 😄
Will be getting goats for target/rotational grazing. We have a lot of diverse foraging where they’ll be. We are going to be hitting the drier months soon in Northern California, just wondering how you gauge supplemental feed amounts?
My neighbors pig has piglets and he really wants me to take one. We have a lot of acreage and we are working up to having actual livestock. Right now we have 19 chickens and we were hoping to have goats soon for target grazing. Would adding a young kune kune to a small herd of goats be a feasible option? Would the goats pick on it?
