Im planning on attending AFROTC this fall but Im still not sure of a major. I wanted to do engineering but it honestly seems very intimidating especially coming from a very easy high school. I fear if I pick something in engineering I might fall behind and my GPA would take a hit. A CMLA scholarship after FT would help a lot but idk if picking a tech major would improve those odds or not. I also want to go rated if that helps. I also don’t want to pick a major that I would regret if something were to happen between now and commissioning. Maybe something tech but not as hard as engineering may do me some well but I’m still not sure. Any advice would be very much appreciated

Hey im an oos student incoming freshman thats gonna go to ms state and do rotc. Ms state offers in state tution to oos cadets. First semester payment is due before rotc orientation, which is about 2 weeks after the due date so the waiver cant be processed til then. Can i somehow get an extension/deferment on my payment u tik that waiver goes through?

Hello, I was wondering if an incoming freshman has an oos student gets in-state tution rates, wouldI be eligible for the “Feshman Mississippi Resident Academic Scholarship Package”? I was accepted and received an amount in scholarships for my oos status. I am planning on going into ROTC when i arrive do that will grant me that waiver. Will i be reconsidered for any possible scholarships because I doubt mine will be kept? Because I know you are not eligible for the oos one because your billed in-state, but your not technically a Mississippi resident. Anything helps, thanks!
