Faço o curso 51 e sou calouro. Meu interesse inicial era Engenharia Física, mas venho pensando em trocar de curso. Não pela dificuldade, e sim porque tenho receio de que o esforço não compense no mercado de trabalho.

Penso que poderia fazer um curso mais "tranquilo", como eng, e ser mais valorizado (claro, nenhum curso é fácil.)

Tenho a impressão de que um engenheiro mecânico, por exemplo, possui uma área de atuação mais clara, enquanto ainda não consigo enxergar um mercado tão definido para Engenharia Física.

Pesquisei algumas alternativas que considerei, como Elétrica, Mecânica e Computação, mas nenhuma delas despertou o mesmo interesse que Engenharia Física.

Também sou o primeiro da minha família a entrar em uma universidade pública. Gostaria de fazer uma escolha que me permita dar orgulho a eles e proporcionar uma boa qualidade de vida para minha família.

I am an undergraduate student at Unicamp (the 2nd best university in Brazil and among the best in Latin America). I am studying Physics/Engineering Physics (I am in my 1st semester, and the choice between the two programs is made in the 3rd semester).

I would like to start preparing as early as possible. Are only the grades from the final year considered during the application process, or is the overall GPA from all years taken into account? What else should I do to prepare?

My program here in Brazil is quite challenging, and there is a chance that I may fail and retake some courses during my first semester. Would it be worth going through the admissions process again to re-enter the university in the same program?

How much do failed and retaken courses impact an application, even if I retake them later and earn higher grades?

I am working hard to achieve good grades and truly learn the material, but it has been difficult and discouraging at times, especially because my dream is to be accepted into this Master's program.

Sou do Curso 51, 1º semestre, e estou com risco de repetir as 4 matérias principais (Cálculo 1, GA, Fís 1 e Complementos). Eu estudo a matéria, sou alguém que gosta de visualizar, então compreendo. Faço alguns exercícios, nas que tenho dificuldade peço para uma i.a me dar uma dica ou então ensinar o conteúdo nescessário para que eu consiga resolver sozinho o conteúdo. Uma coisa que não fazia antes e agora estou aplicando na greve e fazer revisão espaçada.

Mas estou desesperançoso. Sinto que estudo e não tiro nota.. e estou com chance real de pegar DP e isso desanima, pois gostaria de fazer um mestrado no exterior.

I'm going to buy my first iPhone. I'm from Brazil, and the price of the 256GB iPhone 15 and the iPhone 17e are very similar. The 17e was cheaper than the iPhone 15. Since I've never had dynamic island mode, I believe I won't miss using it, but I'm not sure. I also don't care about ultrawide lenses; however, I want an iPhone that takes good photos. I currently have a Samsung Galaxy A54.

I have a Samsung Galaxy A54, and I'm torn between the iPhone 15 and the iPhone 17e. Which is the best iPhone for someone using Apple for the first time? I've never used Dynamic Island, so its presence or absence doesn't matter to me. My main goal with the iPhone is to take good photos and have a phone that's better than my current one.
