Still want to lose about 5 pounds to see some more definition, but pretty happy with my progress. I had an epiphany the other day that made me go, "wow I look good!" All thanks to CGX!

I am truly grateful for the experience, but physically and mentally, I feel drained and fat.
I am a 2L SA at one of my firm's main offices. I have really enjoyed my summer, and I am excited about the opportunity to start my career with this firm. However, I would like to move to another city where my firm has another office (albeit smaller). I have family ties to my desired location, have visited it often over the years, and believe it is where I could truly see myself establishing my personal and professional life. Over the course of the summer, I have networked with attorneys in the office of my desired city, and it seems like they are open to hiring people in my desired practice area (although I haven't asked them outright).
Here's my question: Do I bring this up soon after I receive my offer, and before accepting it, or do I stay at the office I summered at for at least a year before requesting to transfer?
I am in a dilemma because I would like to get ahead of bar exam logistics (one state has adopted the new bar while the other has not), but I also know that it might be safer to "prove myself" at my current office before making the move.
Thank you in advance.
Gotta love the representation, but this video is funny 😂
I am a 2L summer at one of the main offices of my firm, but I am interested in starting at another, smaller office in a city where I have ties (albeit they’re a little weaker than the ties I have to the city I’m currently in). I have family in my desired city, and the industry I'm interested in practicing in is really booming in that city as well. I have also spent a good amount of time in this city over the years, which has increased my desire to be there. I have reached out to attorneys in my desired office. However, I'm wondering what else I can do to sell my ties when it comes time to explain my desire to move, assuming I receive an offer letter.
Sorry for the grammatical errors; I’m on mobile*
Hi,
I’m currently a summer associate. My experience has been a great, but the only issue I have is with the location; I’m working in my hometown. I’ve always wanted to move away, but I didn’t have any success getting offers from my desired cities during the recruiting season, so I figured I would just be grateful, stick it out, and try to lateral later on.
However, recent events had made me realize that my relationship with my family and home life has deteriorated (dealing with a parent who has narcissistic tendencies and is borderline abusive), and my desire to move away for a fresh start has never been greater. I am now once again thinking about relocating. I have some ties to my desired area. My firm also has offices in my desired area, and they have the practice areas I’m interested in. But I’m scared to bring this up, especially since my return offer is pending.
What should I do?

I really like the OhSnap Grip Stand, but I couldn’t justify spending $50 on it. After doing some digging on Amazon, I found this stand by Andobil. I really like it so far; the magnets are strong, and it sticks to my MagSafe car mount. It can also be adhered to appliances or gym equipment. It is not compatible with wireless charging, however, but neither is the OhSnap version.
There are two slight differences I’ve observed, though. First, when in landscape mode, the OhSnap stand allows you to position your phone up higher, creating some separation between your phone and the surface it’s sitting on, whereas the Andobil stand places your phone directly on the surface. This difference is purely a matter of preference and doesn’t bother me much. Second, you do not need to take the Andobil stand completely off to rotate. I know this was a critique that some users had of the OhSnap version, so I thought it was worth mentioning.
All in all, I’m satisfied with this purchase, and I think it’s a good, cheaper alternative to the OhSnap stand.
