Why do you think people are becoming a minimalist?

I’ve been thinking about this lately, and I don’t think minimalism is necessarily about wanting to own as little as possible.

For me, I can understand the appeal of something like a capsule wardrobe. Having fewer clothes can save time because you don't have to stand in front of your wardrobe wondering what to wear. And if you've intentionally chosen the pieces you actually love, you might end up appreciating your wardrobe more because you genuinely enjoy wearing almost everything you own.

I also think there's something freeing about not constantly feeling like you need to upgrade or buy something new.

Maybe minimalism is less about “I want fewer things” and more about “I want fewer things that I don't need, don't use, or don't even like that much.”

Do you think people become minimalist mainly because of the practical benefits, or is there a deeper psychological reason behind it?

How do you guys take care of your clothes?

I’ve been trying to make my clothes last as long as possible instead of constantly buying new ones. Especially jeans — I feel like there are so many different opinions about how often you’re actually supposed to wash them ...

Do you guys wash your jeans after every few wears, only when they actually need it, or have some other routine?

And what about your other clothes? Any little habits that help them last longer, keep their colour, prevent shrinking, etc..

Would love to know what everyone else does because I feel like I’ve probably been doing some things wrong lol.

Have you ever personally witnessed a “love jihad” case?

I’ve personally come across a lot of cases being discussed in the news.. It made me curious about how common these experiences actually are in real life.

For hindus here ,have you personally experienced, witnessed, or known someone who went through a situation that you would describe as “love jihad”?

How common do you think this is among Hindu women and men?

What are your thoughts on it? I’m genuinely interested in hearing people’s personal experiences and perspectives..

Timeless

With trends changing so quickly nowadays, I'm curious—what's one fashion trend/style that you genuinely hope never goes away?

For me, it's definitely 90s-inspired fashion. I love wearing 90s-style outfits regardless of what's currently trending. Mom jeans, relaxed/baggy denim, leather jackets, simple fitted tops, boots, etc. 😭 I feel like those pieces can look good regardless of the year.

It doesn't necessarily have to be a specific trend either. It could be a type of clothing, silhouette, colour, styling technique, anything!

What's yours? 👀
