What is a realistic value for this natural 1.20ct oval diamond today?

Hi! I’m trying to figure out the realistic fair value (see below for Buying / Asking price) of this natural diamond and would appreciate opinions from people who know the market.

Specs:
\- Oval brilliant
\- 1.20 carats
\- H color
\- SI2 clarity
\- 8.48 × 5.99 × 3.64 mm
\- Very Good polish
\- Good symmetry
\- No fluorescence
\- IGI certified, report from 2020

I have been getting quotes as low as $1.2k - $1.8k.

I bought the diamond a few years ago at $8.5k from Robbins brothers.

Thanks!

Highly Intuitive personlities

Hi everyone,

I’m a man in my mid-30s who has done a lot of inner work over the past year. Interestingly, I didn’t really take a spiritual approach to healing. Mine was mostly scientific/Western.

But through that process, I’ve noticed that my intuition about people has become significantly stronger. I’ve even written down some of my intuitions before knowing the outcome, and I’d say around 8/10 times my read of the situation has eventually turned out to be accurate.

So I have a serious question for people who experience strong intuition: How do you manage the urge to tell someone what you sense when they seem unwilling or unable to acknowledge it themselves?

For example, say you shared with a friend that you’ve been struggling with loneliness. She repeatedly encourages you to go out with her and frames it as her helping you because you’re lonely.

But intuitively, you sense that she is quite lonely herself and also needs your companionship, yet she isn't comfortable acknowledging that vulnerability. Instead, the dynamic continues to be framed as though she is doing this primarily for you.

You don't resent her for needing companionship. You actually understand it. What bothers you is the feeling that you can see the unspoken truth of the dynamic while having to pretend you don't.

Would you call it out?

Would you simply recognize it internally and play along?

Or is part of developing intuition learning when NOT to tell people what you see?

Can someone help me contact a pro from Cuddle Comfort?

My profile on Cuddle Comfort got banned after a one-off disagreement with a woman who did not get her way and reported me.
I created a second account afterward and had several 5-star reviews. I also had an appointment scheduled for the next day with a pro whom I really wanted to see.
The moderators found out I was using a new account and banned me again.
Can someone pls help message the pro on my behalf? You don’t need to share any of my personal details. Just mentioning the appointment time and location should be enough for her to know who it is.
I mainly want her to know what happened so she doesn’t think I randomly disappeared or stood her up.

Do women often assume your parents will arrange your marriage?

I’m an Indian man in my mid-30s. Over the years, I’ve gotten acquainted with women from different parts of the world - white American, Black American, Latina, Russian, Kazakh, Middle Eastern, and Indian.

A surprisingly common set of questions comes up:
“Have you been married before?”
“Was it an arranged marriage?”
“Are your parents choosing a girl for you?”

I understand that arranged marriages exist in India, and sometimes people are simply curious. But when the same assumptions keep coming up before someone really knows me, it starts to feel like I’m being reduced to a stereotype.

I usually brush it off or respond lightly, but honestly, it creates some anger and sadness underneath. It feels like a subtle form of racism - not necessarily malicious, but still based on a narrow idea of what an Indian man’s life must look like.

I also think Indian men should be mindful about whom we trust with deeply personal information. There is nothing wrong with being vulnerable, but not everyone has earned access to that part of us, and personal experiences can sometimes get generalized into assumptions about Indian men as a whole.
Have other Indian men experienced this, especially while dating or meeting women abroad? How do you respond without becoming defensive or feeling like you have to explain your entire culture?
