How are you guys getting your cleaning crews to actually secure Google reviews?
Hey guys,
Looking for some insight from shop owners on the operational side of running a cleaning business.
How are you incentivizing or forcing your cleaners/crews to actually get Google reviews before they pack up their supplies and leave a house or commercial site?
We all know that local SEO heavily relies on a steady stream of reviews to compete with those massive franchise outfits, but getting crews in the field to consistently remind clients to leave a review is like pulling teeth. They either forget, or they feel awkward asking.
If you use a CRM like Jobber, ZenMaid, Housecall Pro, or QuickBooks, do you just rely on their native automated text follow-ups? Or do you find that clients just completely ignore those generic automated text strings because they look like robotic receipts?
Curious to hear how you guys handle the bottleneck—whether it's a specific bonus structure for the cleaners when their name is mentioned, or a unique follow-up workflow that actually gets residential homeowners to click the link and leave a rating.
How are you guys handling this
Curious, anyone who can speak Spanish?

Me and my friend started our agency approx 2 years ago.
I dropped out, we're doing this full time now.
We've been barely able to get it off the ground.
Have made only 7-8k this year so far.....
Although I've diagnosed a few problems, which I won't repeat.
But I feel like having someone close, who can guide us a little would be helpful, because we're not from the US, and don't have access to entrepreneurs and relevant business owners.
For context: we run a SAAS company, we're tried social media, we partnered with a massive company and started getting them qualified businesses for a few months. I change plans often, which I won't now.
Planning to go all in on GMB optimization, SEO and Google ads for restaurants, with primarily focus on SEO websites.
My partner is technical and I look after sales n marketing.
We're making cold calls. Me, my little brother and a junior SDR, we make approximately 350+ calls a day minimum.
We just started focusing on this fully a few weeks ago.
Im still confused about many things, although I know it gets clearer with time and it's an uphill battle but would be much easier with someone just giving a few personalized suggestions here and there.
