How do I start doing makeup?

Soooooo I'm 16 and just never felt the need to be doing makeup until now. I feel like everyone is already leagues ahead of me and I don't even know where to start. I don't know what products to use, how to find my shade, or how to apply makeup. Any tips or advice would be GREATLY appreciated. I definitely much prefer very natural looks overall, but I love eye makeup that looks like the photo attatched. If anyone can recommend some video tutorials or products it would really help me out!

Should I come out this pride month??

I've known I'm aroace for about two years now and still haven't come out to my family yet. They're pretty strong allies, but for some reason my mom is specifically against a-spec people. She's always said that if we ever had a viewpoint she disagreed with she'd try to see our point of view, and I'm definitely in no danger of being kicked out if she doesn't take it well. My main concern is her going "oh you're too young to know that" and it being awkward until I move out. I'm pretty confident in my identity, but there's always that little voice in my head going "what if you're wrong?" and I could NEVER come out if I wasn't absolutely certain because I don't want to prove her right. But... I'm getting kind of tired of being in the closet. I would love to have a flag in my room and not have to hear those "when are you getting a boyfriend?" comments.

Anyways, sorry for the ramble, I just kind of need a new perspective on whether I'm overthinking things or not. Chances are I'll probably chicken out, but I hope this year is the year I finally do it. Advice would be appreciated, as well as coming out ideas (funny ideas very welcome lol).

Can't tell if this dude is dead or not

Completely forgot about this guy. He's been sitting in my room completely unwatered for... a while. Can't even remeber when I got him. I got some cacti soil I thought he'd appreciate, but ran out so the pot is only about halfway full. I could add some normal soil to fill it up the rest of the way if that'd help? I also tried watering him a few times before switching his soil.

Problem is, I'm not even sure if he's still alive ngl. His rootball thing was COMPLETELY hydrophobic and a lot of it just crumbled into dust when I moved him. His bottom leaves have curled up and died I think, and some of the top ones broke off.

Idk why he's blue. Pretty sure he used to be fully blue and then grew a bit? He's sitting by my window rn in case he needs some sunlight.

Anyways I like to name all my plants but I kinda forgot this guy existed so... Name ideas anyone? To put on his tombstone if nothing else.

Did I just kill my aloe vera??

I've had this aloe vera for like 4 years. Zero clue how it's still alive. Put it in a pot about the size of my hand width and height wise with some non-cacti soil that was never changed once. I know aloe veras usually prefer smaller pots, but this is the only one I had and the old one was toppling over constantly.

I'm definitely not the greatest plant parent, but at this point I have an emotional attachment to this dude and would be very very sad if he died. Any tips on how to keep this guy alive in his new pot?? His leaves are looking a little squished at the ends and sometimes his leaves get too heavy and snap off. Did I accidentally condemn him to a death sentence??

He currently sits by my window and I water him... when he looks thirsty?
