Why you should enter a quilt in your local fair.

I hear a lot of people say when I ask them if they have a quilt entered at the fair, that they aren't like a "real quilter". So I thought I would do a video saying why even if you aren't " a real quilter" why we still want you to enter. Let me know weather or not you agree, or if you have any thing to add :)

I'm excited, 2 of my hand knitted bears sold to a good home!

Is Taffy ( pink bear ) or Mossy ( green bear ) your favorite? Taffy is by far my favorite. I was kinda surprised since Mossy is darker colored how much attention Mossy was getting from customers. However they were both chosen, and they both went to a good home. I'm curious though what people's favorite is?

I'm having a lot of fun getting my hand appliqued quilt back out to work on!

I've made 19 quilts all by hand without a sewing machine, and I'm still excited to do hand needle turne applique! I can't wait until I'm finished appliqueing and can start quilting it!

HELP, Why is my rooster missing a talion? What can I do for him?

Edit, maybe it is called the spur on the foot. It is the long thing on the back of the leg. This morning I saw our rooster was bleeding a little bit on his foot. The bleeding has stopped now, but I noticed his talion on his foot that was bleeding is almost all gone, while the one on the other foot is nice and long. What happened? Is there anything I should be concerned about? Also he just had bugs recently that we got rid of, in case that has anything to do with it? I wouldn't think having bugs would be related to this, but thought I would mention it just in case it does. And is there anything I should be doing for him? Thank you so much!

Hand appliqued and hand quilted!

This quilt was an exciting step in my quilting journey! I had done a little bit of applique on a couple quilts before this one, but this was almost all hand needle turned applique! I had so much fun making it! I've made three quilts since I made this one, and I still get excited pulling it back out to look at:)

I'm going to be selling these bears I knit at a farmers market, and I'm wondering how much I should charge? I sold one for $30 at a farmers market last year, and I was wondering if I could raise my price to $35? Thanks for your input.

My quilt was excepted into the Paducah quilt show last year ( 2025 ) and I'm hoping some one took a picture, and could send it to me? I live out of state, so I didn't make it to the show, and I thought it would be really cool to have a picture of it at the show. I know it is a long shot since there were so many beautiful quilts there, but I thought I would ask just in case.
