If you’re going to sell computer components on the Internet, maybe ship them in a box and not a bubble mailer…

I ordered a raspberry pi off of eBay, because I’ve never had a chance to tinker around with one before, and this one was very cheap and supposedly worked. I was very excited to get the notification that it had arrived, but got concerned when I saw it was a bubble mailer. And more concerned when I picked it up, and it jabbed me…

That was when I realized that pretty much every pin (plus the heat sink for the CPU) had been rammed through the packaging and the label. It just got worse and worse as I pulled it from the packaging.

Now, I got my refund within 20 minutes of submitting these pictures, but it never should’ve come to this.

Package items the same way that you would like to receive them, please.

Cannot figure out how to get Blu-Rays to play.

So, I got the classic

>VLC is unable to open the MRL 'bluray:///dev/sr0'.

And I know the solution is that I need the keydb.cfg file. That was all nice and easy to find and download.

Now, where the hell do I put it?

The instructions everywhere I can see say ~/.var/app/config but I cannot find that.

I did find /var/lib/flatpak/app/ which is where the org.videolan.VLC files live. But, when I then go 'up river' to /var, there is not a /app folder to be found. And I know... it's /.var and that is different, but I searched the whole drive with dolphin's file search and there is no /.var to be found.

Please, tell me... step by agonizing step, what I am supposed to do, because I am at a total loss.

EDIT: Here is one of the supposed solutions I found from 5 months ago, on this sub, but I still could not find the proper file location.

Painted years ago, I just found the pictures again. Sadly, the camo worked too well and I haven't seen the mech in a couple years.
