Internal Belt Tightness?

How snug do you wear your belt? I have mine pretty snug. I can slip my fingers in between my body and the belt, but not my whole hand. I can definitely feel the holster pressing into me regardless of position, (standing, sitting, recumbent).

I am curious how snug you keep your gun belt whether internal or the more common outside through belt loops.

I have started making IWB holsters. I have mostly focused on pocket holsters up to now. So the IWB experience has some learning curve involved.

I am older, 230-ish pounds, 6’1” tall, so running some gut. I wear Arrowhead Tactical shorts or sweats around the house depending on the season. I am using one of their belts.

Mostly I carry either a Bodyguard 2.0 or a KelTec P32. The KelTec just about vanishes. The BG2.0 snuggles right in, and the wing pulls the grip solidly into my belly. I occasionally need to adjust the holster’s ride, if it rides up and gets “tippy”.

Mostly carried at the one o’clock position. Pictured is my Bodyguard 2.0 CC with my holster. The molded in pillow gives the muzzle a bit of an odd shape.

Cancelling Shipping Label?

Purchaser paid for shipping, I purchased and printed the shipping label. Then he texted me that he needs it shipped to a different address.

How do I cancel the existing label and get its purchase price refunded? Then purchasing a new label for his preferred address?

The new label isn’t a real problem, I just don’t want to get stuck with the cost of the first label.

Online & eBay store - Woocommerce + ???

I am a specialty manufacturer, small home-based business with sales around $1500 to $2000 a month through eBay. I want to expand to an online, web based store as well. I have a Wordpress website that was part of my business registration package.

I like the eBay model of only selling what I actually have in stock. I need to manage that across both my eBay store and my yet-to-be-created online store. I plan on using Woocommerce for my wordpress website. But I need to manage inventory across both platforms. Plus I need to charge actual shipping (USPS ground advantage, possibly adding Express mail) and sales tax. The sales tax isn't hard, a straight 9% of the total.

I am looking at Salestio as a possible plug-in to work with Woocommerce to handle shipping costs that need to be added to the check out balance. I am doing around 100 orders a month though that could double or triple if I get some more exposure in my niche market.

I have a growing inventory of variations of my products, so 30 products but 4 or 5 variations of each. Orders are usually single items, not bulk or multiple items. But those sales need to synchronize inventory across both platforms, with possibly adding new platforms such as Amazon in the future.

Any advice about good choices and/or pitfalls to be aware in choosing which plug-ins are best for my level of business.

TIA

Multiple Entries or Consolidated Selection?

I sell specialized thermoplastics that I manufacture at home. My product line has developed over time. I have a store with multiple entries and am considering moving all of the different choices into one or two offerings with pop down selectors.

What is seller’s experience with consolidating offerings? Are more offerings better or one offering where they can find the different versions or models better?

Point vs Flat Temps?

Newbie to Brisket here. I wrap at 175F. But I often see 20+ degree differences between the thicker point vs the thinner flat. My wife wants to cut them into two pieces and wrap each when it hits the 175F to get through the stall.

How do you folks that keep both point and flat together deal with the difference in internal temps?

Drive Medical Air Compressor as Nebulizer

TLDR: Tired of almost 2 hours a day just doing a nebulizer, I bought a medical air comp and and adapter for $400. I cut my nebulizer time to under 30 minutes a day!

I just bought a Drive 18450 air compressor. They cost an arm and a leg so I had to save over six months to afford it.

I have gotten so burnt out with doing the home nebulizers. 3 ml Abuterol taking almost 15 minutes a day times four. Saline nebulizer times two at over 20 minutes each time. Almost two hours a day ended up getting skipped a lot. A whole lot!

But last year I spent a couple weeks in the hospital and they had a 8 to 10 liter air powered nebulizer that blew through the 3 ml in under 4 minutes and the 4 ml saline in under 5 minutes. Everything done in under 30 minutes daily total!

That’s when I realized I needed to get something like this at home! So I could actually do my nebulizers and quit skipping them!

There are a number of the medically certified air compressors that won’t pollute your lungs the way a standard air compressor will. The Drive unit looked like a well designed unit but my local medical supply wanted $700 for it.

I did some online shopping and with discount, I got a new one for $400 including sales tax. And it works like a champ! I nebulize each time I am supposed to, no more skipping.

I grabbed the airline adapter from Amazon for $6 (pkg of 5). And the Hudson TurboMist nebulizer mouthpiece I brought home from the hospital.

If you need to nebulize and can afford it, this is the way to go.
