could someome tell me all the dielects of sri lankan tamil bc i know less about it than indian dielects of tamil.

is there any extinct/dead dravidian langauges that arent spoken anymore at all???? i mean ones that were rumored to exist/had last speakers died in 1900's. dont mention old telugu, old tamil, old kannada, etc.

what origins do Pillai community exactly have??? bc i belong to this and i have heard from family that we are a caste, i think i am Vellalar, but there are other groups also having Pillai as last name (Eg, Jaffna Kingdom King who had it) so what origins is it????

ive heard around here that Kannada originated where northern karnataka is and telugu for the deccan region, but i never fully understood it, could someone explain more

i know Kurukh/Konda-Kubi are languages in Odisha area of South asia, but i am wondering, where there Any dravidian languages where West bengal/Bangldesh is Now like 1000's of years ago that died out or had mixed with local bengali's enough for the language to be changed, then died out, or is currently dying?????

When you think about it, Tamizh Padam had a way deeper story, about infant mortalitity, finding your family, Poverty shaping vigilantes, and how a grandmother would do anything for her grandson

this might be unrelated but what info is there on the Sri lankan Vedda language??? does its vocabulary have more para dravidian roots or wtv or???

im lowk confused on thr aryan invasion theory snd how brahui is still spoken in pakistan, which itself is a dravidian language, does this mean that AASI was all over South asia 1000's of years ago before Aryans invaded or something else interely???
