Does any of you try to create his own spice blends?

Greetings guys,

I am always fascinated by spices. I use them a lot. Lately I am trying to create my own blends. Is it just me, or are there more people like me out there?

What do you think of a mix, having these:

Smoked paprika

Cayenne pepper,

Grounded coriander,

Sumac,

Turmenic,

Lemon pepper

What do you think?

I would really like your feedback

Greetings guys,

Lately I am building methodandmatrix.com

It's an AI Sous-Chef. I am myself a seasoned chef and I always try to find inspiration for new dishes.

So, I am trying to pass all my experiences and background into this app. I am currently adding new things, and I love honest feedback, no matter how harsh it may be.

Thank you all in advance.

Always evolving

Greetings guys,

It has been almost two months since I made methodandmatrix.com go live into the world.

From the first launch, I am gathering feedback, tweaking things, importing new sections and trying to promote it on TikTok and Instagram.

I want to be honest, distribution is very hard, but I believe in my project so I am not giving up do easily.

Many of you may have already visited my website before. If you have, please visit again and tell me if it looks better.

For the rest of you, if you find the time just jump aboard. I could use your feedback.

P.S. Method & Matrix is an AI Sous-Chef that helps you create new recipes based on 15 years of culinary knowledge, and many many culinary books and databases.

Thank you anyway! Have fun!

Aegean Botanical Savory Cheesecake

The Base:

150g Barley rusks (Paximadi), crushed

40ml Extra virgin olive oil

A pinch of sea salt

(Mix crushed rusks with olive oil and salt. Press firmly into a ring mold and chill).

The Mousse:

200g Feta cheese

100g Cream cheese or Greek yogurt (full fat)

Zest of 1 fresh lime

1 tsp Dried wild oregano

(Whip the ingredients together until aerated and completely velvety. Layer smoothly over the chilled base).

The Botanical Gelée:

1 Medium cucumber, juiced and strained

20ml Chios Mastic liqueur

5g Fresh ginger, grated and pressed for juice

2 Gelatin leaves (bloomed in cold water)

(Warm a small part of the cucumber juice to dissolve the bloomed gelatin. Mix back into the rest of the juice along with the mastic and ginger. Pour gently over the set mousse and refrigerate for 3 hours).

The Finish:

Dehydrated black olives, finely ground into "earth"

(Dust a line of olive earth on top right before releasing from the ring mold).

How does this dynamic look to you for a modern, savory twist on an Aegean classic? Would you change anything in the flavor matrix?

Just a father, trying to please his 3-year-old son

Hey guys,

As many of you, I love listening to music with my 3-year-old son. He just loves music. But he actually hates commercials, and he is always whining about them.

So I just builded a chrome add-on that just mutes the sound when a commercial is being played.

I am not posting any link, but I would love your thoughts.

If you still want to find it you can search for it in the Chrome Web Store by searching "SilenAds" or "YouTube Ad-Friendly Audio Assistant", or just send me a private message.

Can my project be successful or not?

Greetings guys.

My name is Georgios Zourmpadelos and I am a professional chef for 10+. To be honest my biggest mistake so far was dropping out of university. I was studying computer and communications engineering in Greece. And the reason I dropped out was because it was way too much theory, and very little practice at that time. And some "bad" teachers, for all of you that know about Greek universities.

In the past year, vibe coding has become a part of my life. I have launched a small game on the Play Store, and it has almost been 2 months of running methodandmatrix.com.

It's an AI Sous-Chef that helps you generate recipes.

The difference between my product and generic AI is that my tool is using a specialized database of recipes, culinary art, spices and herbs properties and techniques.

However I am struggling with distribution. And even though I strongly believe in my product, I lose confidence at times because of marketing and distribution.

I am not asking anything. If you want to try my product, do it. If you have any advice, please share if you like.

I just wanted to share my thoughts.

Thank you all for your patience.

▲ 1 r/SaaS

Hi everyone,

I’ve spent the last few months transitioning from professional kitchens to full-stack development. I just launched my first SaaS: Method & Matrix.

The Problem:

Generic LLMs (like ChatGPT) are notoriously bad at cooking. They hallucinate ratios and don't understand food chemistry, leading to failed recipes.

My Solution:

I built a platform that grounds Gemini AI in culinary science (Maillard reaction, pH levels, protein denaturation) and a massive curated database of professional ratios.

My Challenge (and why I need your advice):

I’m struggling with positioning.

How do you convince users to pay for a "Science-First" AI tool when they are used to getting generic (but flawed) recipes for free?

Should I focus on the "Professional Chef" authority or the "Tech/Data" accuracy?

I’m building this solo using React, Firebase, and Stripe. I’d love to hear from fellow SaaS founders who have tackled "niche vs. generic" markets.

(I'll leave the link in the comments to respect the sub's rules against self-promo).
