Good evening everyone. Im trying to exchange my american drivers license to a polish one. I meet all requirements(residency, medical exam, translations), and thought I had all documents. Unfortunately, the polish bureaucracy is a beast I still cant comprehend.

My drivers license is accompanied by a AAA International Drivers Permit, but when i present all my documents with translations, the urząd miasta will not complete my application without a "potwierdzenie" for my IDP.

I have no clue what would satisfy this requirement, and the office doesnt either, but they demand some document confirming my IDP is genuine, and only seem to focus on exchanging the IDP. I have my IDP application and reciept of purchase, and will try with these for the third time next week. They refuse to exchange my actual license card from the states.

Anybody have experience with this or know what document they want? AAA is not a government or bureaucratic entity, and of course does not issue such confirmation, but the office refuses to recognize that.

My wife and I applied for her itin from abroad, it was recieved in Austin 10 weeks ago. We just recieved her passport in the mail but without an ITIN. Is this normal or does it mean her application was rejected?
