I want to ask the F150 guys and girls a question on current 4x4 transfer cases. The last 2 Ford F150s I bought were electronic switched on and off 4x4s. A 2000 and a 2018. The dealer even said around 55 to 60, if you had 4x4 high engaged it would kick out so as to damage the drive train. Is that still the case today? Someone told me today's Ford transfer cases, 2020 and uo, once locked into 4x4 high, never release, even at 100+ miles an hour. Again, is this true?
