After doing some research, I found this nail was put into the utility pole for identification and dating purposes . It was used by The International Creosote and Construction Company with plants in Texarkana, Beaumont and Galveston Texas.

Common Snapping Turtle looking for love in all the wrong places

I had lots of fun with these Turtles, every spring they would crawl under the fence between my place of work and a huge pond to crawl up onto these rodent bait traps. I would make sure to get them back on their side of the fence to avoid heavy truck traffic on our side.

Picture at work in Houston, Texas

I loved that job, we were situated right next to a huge pond, and I was always seeing incredible wildlife.

Found these while cleaning out storage locker. Super strong magnets on both of them.

I am currently using them as Fridge Magnets .
