Never use your Garmin fenix as bicycle computer on the handlebar

Bought it about a month ago and used it as a bicycle computer mounted on the handlebar. Unfortunately, it fell off while I was riding and hit the asphalt. The rear sensor area cracked, as shown in the photo. Has anyone had similar damage, and is this part repairable or replaceable?

Forerunner 165 charging pins ruined after only 4 months? Normal?

Hi everyone,

I bought a Forerunner 165 4 months ago (April) and I'm already having charging connection issues.

- My habits: I charge it 1-2 times a week, always take it off for showers, and barely swim with it.

- The issue: The cable (used 40 times max) requires careful wiggling to charge.

- The pins: The connectors look in terrible shape (looks like rust or heavy dirt).

How can it look like rust/dirt with almost no use? Is this normal or should I straight up contact Garmin for a warranty replacement?

Thanks!
