never been here before but hi! I’m Ollie and I’ve been rewatching Starblazers (almost done with s1)

My dad watched the og show as a kid and when I started getting into anime, he joined me. Thats’s how we found out there was a remake and we started watching it. I also just so happen to be an artist, so here’s some drawings I did last night before bed! Ignore my messy desk.

HEY IM ALIVE sorry this took so long i got sick right after coming back from travel,,, but here's my long awaited part 4 review and i do have things to say thats for sure

for starters, i have mixed feelings on the overall vibes change. I didn't mind the more sitcom-y good vibes feel that Morioh and the cast had, but it felt like huge tonal whiplash coming straight from part 3 (i started part 4 the same day i finished part 3) and tbh at first i didnt like it.

People complained about the pacing in SDC, but i didnt like the start of DIU. It felt kinda boring. Like yeah, the stands are cool and so are the stand users, but i js wasnt getting into it until mf'ing kira showed up.

that was when it started to REALLY get good. Kira is a very interesting character to me cause; lets face it: he's autistic. or neurodivergent in some way. he thrives on routine, has intrusive thoughts that he does act upon, etc you get it. (this is coming from someone with adhd, autism, BPD, and DID)

bites the dust arc had me on the edge of my seat,,,,the ending was great and i miss morioh already even tho im 12 eps into part 5.

ok now insert kewl segway here: the residents of Morioh!!!

i loved mainly Rohan, Okuyasu, Mikitaka, and Reimi. Josuke was also a really funny character and josuyasu is canon to me cause thats just me and my bf.

I relate to Rohan a lot as an artist myself; also liked how while everyone wears the same thing every episode, he changes his clothes!!! finally he doesnt face the animated character outfit curse,,,

SIKE YALL THOUGHT I’D DO PART 4 NEXT HAHA! Well, I did finish it but I have a bit to say about it and I‘m traveling in a few days so I thought I’d save it until I get back. I splurged and bought all 3 volumes of cddh recently and wanted to talk abt it cause Hol Horse is my favorite character in jojo’s so far.

So, as a whole I really liked the plot. It was something simple on paper but it allowed for a lot of character development with Hol. DIO‘s and Kakyoin‘s fuckass narrative haunting shenanigans were what drove the drama and I loved that. My favorite panels are of Hol Horse sweating or fearing for his life.

like, please keep doing that sir, I am feeling things. Anyway, HOL HORSE THE MAN YOU ARE. His realization that no one forced him to submit to DIO and that he was just a coward and still is,,, just,,,mwah…Oh and Josuke and Ryo were here too I suppose. Can he stop taking up space on the cover I wanna see Hol,,,

The twist bad guy police officer was done well, his motives confuse me a bit though but maybe I just need to re-read it. Speaking of Pet Sounds, anyone else notice how when someone controlled by him, their eyes look like the button eyes from Coraline? Or am I too nerdy?

Overall Verdict: 10 whole horses out of 10

TLDR: Hol Horse please be gay for me

since people enjoy my reviews for the parts and hearing me gush abt my newest hyperfixation, here’s my yapping on sdc 3 days after finishing cause I have to gather my thoughts

so overall, I thought the part was amazing, 11/10, would watch for the first time again. It was a wild ride since I was watching multiple episodes a day, but each half took me a week. the pacing was slow at points but it wasn’t dragged out thankfully.

the monster of the week formula was something I enjoyed becuase it reminds me of magical girl shows and I love magical girls. Speaking of magic and power systems, I LOVE STANDS. theyre sooo cool and I love how in this part theyre baes on tarot and mythology god I love mythology. My favorite stand was probably Star Platinum but mostly cause I go ORAORAORAORAORA now as a vocal stim.

i liked the overall arc and tbh this was such a funny watch for me, a moment didn’t go by where I wasn’t cracking up and that’s rare for me. The crusaders all bounce off eachother so well, my favorite of them was kakyoin (rest in peace my son) also the character DESIGNS were fire. Kakyoin, Jotaro, the D’arby bros, and DIO had my favorite looks. ((Also I’m already like 16 episodes into part 4 and I love the fits there especially josukes))

Like the other 2 parts I do have overall favs (speedwagon from part 1 and strohiem from part 2) but I want to have people guess who my favorite overall was. All I’m gonna say is that theyre a DIO follower…good luck :3

TLDR: local Tboy gets worked up over pixels on screen again, misses Speedwagon as per usual.

Hi! i'm the guy that finished part 1 a few days ago and i started part 2 right afterwards, right now im on ep2 of stardust crusaders, but that aside....wow what a ride BT was.

So first of all, joseph is a great main character. Love his gimmick of guessing what others are gonna say, reminds me of Phoenix Wright. Caesar was a great partner for him, despite his screentime being shortlived,,,(rip to the goat)

and also, shoutout to u/Rainy_Wavey for telling me i wasnt ready for pt2 speedwagon cause HOLY CRAP HOT OLDER MEN BOOMSHAKALAKA!!!! Disappointing that he died single but he was waiting on me despite the fact im not in the jojoverse trust,,,

Stroheim was,,,,yes. Moving on, Lisa Lisa/Elizabeth was a great character too and i didnt expect the twist of her being joseph's mother. She also reminds me of another Ace Attorney character, Lana Skye.

The Pillar Men were funny to me cause why did they have like no clothing on the whole time???? gay ass mfs.

Ok so now thats all the characters i gotta say i love how this show doesnt tone down the blood, guts, gore and insane deaths.

I'm on crunchyroll so its not censored for me and god it was a treat for the eyes. not in a weird way i was just one of those weirdo kids that watched fnaf vhs tapes and godzilla movies tooo much so it was nice feeling like that again.

The story had so many twists and turns that i wasn't expecting, op and ed are fire, stroheim and speedwagon are hot asf, and i liked the jokes.

Ok thats it onto part 3 ill be back when im done with that

so I binged part 1 in a single day after starting this series on a whim since I’d been putting off starting it for AGES now and hooooollllyyyyyy shhhhhiiiittttt im obsessed already. I love the supernatural and spooky so phantom blood was my jam and after just starting battle tendency and learning it takes place in 1938 New York, dude I cheered….

This is actually peak idk what made me think this was gonna be boring it’s batshit insane. Anyway guess ya’ll have a new jobro in your cult now. Hope you welcome audhd queers.
