Leo-Sun showing up in both cards
My friend K has been divorced from R for almost 18 years now due to an affair he had. He later went on to marry N, the woman he had an affair with. K understandably went through a tough time accepting the affair, divorce, and subsequent marriage, but after some time, I thought she had come to terms with everything and moved on.
Lately, she has been reposting quite a bit on TT about the "other woman" and " home-wrecking women" and the damage they do not only to the former spouse but to the kids left behind. I asked her what has triggered this new reaction and how could I help her, but she skirted the issue. So I decided to do a two-card reading using the Ethereal Visions deck:
Card 1: Why is K reliving her pain regarding the divorce, focusing on N?: Sun
Card 2: What does N have to do with K's reliving the pain of the affair/divorce/2nd marriage life? : Strength
Interestingly, R is a Leo, and he shows up in both cards as the Sun and as the Lion in Strength
I think this is more about R than about N or anything N has done. I think K is still trying to gain R's attention, but the Sun is looking straight ahead and not at the woman in the Sun card, so I think that is a dead issue. He is over it.
With the lion in the Strength card, I see him tamed and dominated by N. I think the fact that N has been able to successfully hold on to him and create a stable home life for her kids and the child she had with R, and be able to give all 3 kids a stable home life and an affluent lifestyle, is what is triggering K.
I don’t think the other countries want to catch up to some US “sports”
Is that bobbing motion common?
I’ve been keeping a close eye on the baby duckling by the lake and I noticed it keeps making this bobbing motion with its head and neck? Is this motion normal or something to be concerned about?
Good news: duckling is okay!
Newest member at my lake
I feed the ducks at the lake by my house every evening and I was surprised to see this little one show up with momma. I’m guessing by the perfect smoky eye the little one is female.
Was also surprised to the geese here tonight. It’s 107 in the DFW area so I thought they would’ve flown up north by now.
What to do with a disrespectful account director?
Asking for opinions/advice from those who work the field. I have a national account director assigned to me (I work on the payer side). I disagree with an approach Pharma is wanting to implement to expand patient access because they are numerous gaps in the process that can lead to a patient falling thru the cracks. Ever since I disagreed with the approach on several calls he has raised his voice at me, made snide remarks while on the call to his teammates such as “ now she’s talking our language” as though my comments before are irrelevant. On a call with my medical director who usually doesn’t join, he condescendingly commented “it’s nice to finally have a real doctor on the call” (I’m a pharmacist).
Usually everyone I deal with from Pharma is very professional and easy to deal with. But this acct director is toeing the line with such disrespectful, rude, and unprofessional behavior. How are complaints like this handled on the Pharma side?
Let me clarify… I don’t work in industry. I work at a payer but I’m having trouble with an acct director who has my company as part of his regional territory.
What could be causing these cracks in the trim?
It’s only in a small area about 24 inches long. The rest of the room’s trim is fine. The wall doesn’t feel damp or have any cracks. I also don’t see bugs.
