Is it worth it to watch in 4DX 3D?
Im not a fan of spidy or the MCU.. I'm js going with my friends, who are fans, to relax and watch a movie (odyssey dekh li alrdy).. and I'm always the guy that chooses the cinema.
We have alrdy visited IMAX together and that was chosen by me, and they loved that experience.
So this time it's again up to me to choose.
Just to clarify we CANNOT travel to the P[XL] or EPIQ in our city coz it's too far away and we are bored of standard 2D/3D.
So yeah is 4DX 3D worth it? I think they will enjoy the thrill and personally even I wanna experience it once.
Pune's Aundh IMAX is definitley due for a renovation/upgrade.
Opening around the same time as Palazzo IMAX, Chennai..
It was Pune's first and for many years, only IMAX theatre. Yet while Palazzo has since received major upgrades with IMAX XT Laser projection, 12-channel sound, refreshed interiors, and modern seating, Aundh has remained largely unchanged. It's beginning to show its age, with moviegoers increasingly reporting projector glitches very frequently, with the presentation just stopping randomly and people waiting for 30+ mins for the issue to be resolved, and other technical issues that disturb their movie experience.
After yrs of serving as Pune's only IMAX destination, it deserves the same level of treatment and modernization that its counterpart has already received. The theatre is still very popular among audiences, it sells almost the same amount of tickets as the Wakad Laser IMAX, and goes basically housefull for all releases. The 2K Dual Xenon system is really starting to show its signs of age, opening in September of 2016, the theatre will complete 10 yrs of using the same projectors next month, this is the same time Nexus Palazzo, Chennai got it's upgrade.
And i think it definitley deserves a projector and sound upgrade, well if not sound at least make this theatre Laser.
Tickets for Indian IMAX venues for Nolan's The Odyssey are going live tomorrow (8 June 2026).
Which format/theatre are you guys planning to watch it in?
And do y'all think this movie will be A rated or get UA16+?
