questions asked at JFK immigration for first time traveller (tourist)

I’m 23(F) and i’m travelling to US for the first time to visit my sister. she did her masters from columbia and is now working. I recently graduated in july and i’ll be starting my new job in november. im travelling to NY in sept for 6 weeks. it’s also my birthday in sept so i thought i could celebrate my birthday in nyc as well. I have all the necessary documents including return tickets (they’re non refundable as well). My parents and my sister would be sponsoring my trip and i have enough funds to show as well. is there Anything that i should be prepared for before travelling and what all questions can be asked during the immigration process? How much cash should i carry with me? How much money should be there in my forex card? Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)

Bom-Jfk direct flights in sept

I specifically booked Air India flight from bom to jfk for september because i wanted to fly DIRECT w/o any layover. Got an email today that there’s now a layover at rome🫠. This airline is so unpredictable and annoying

Has anyone else’s nykaa orders been getting delayed recently?

i have been using nykaa since the last 5/6 years or so ( i’m a platinum member)and nykaa has always delivered the order within 3 business days. However recently they’ve been fucking up every order of mine by delaying due to “logistics issues”. i’m tired of calling their customer care service every damn time it’s getting so annoying they keep pushing the delivery date. Their delivery partners are absolute shit ass they should change them

Immigration process at US airport

I’m 23(f) planning to travel to US in august/sept for a month to visit my sister in US (she works there and has h1b). I am an engineering student & i would be giving my final semester exams this month. I would have a bit of a time off between finishing my degree and looking for a job and that’s why i want to visit her since it’s been so long. I had already gotten my Visa back in 2024 where i did mention that i’m going for her graduation ceremony but i wouldn’t be able to go if i end up having my semester exams around that date which is exactly what happened.
Anyway that being said, what kind of questions should i expect? Do i mention that i’m looking for jobs in my home country and i just finished my degree if they ask? Though i do think i would still be waiting for my Results till then but just help me out here i don’t want to be flagged as a potential immigrant:)

Bom-NYC flight

i wanted to book direct flight from BOM—>NYC for last week of june but there are no direct flights apparently and when i checked for july/august the flight prices are exceeding 1Lakh one way🫠 the cheapest ones are in september first week. Should i book now or should i wait for the flight prices to go down? (IF they do)
