I was asking how did the ancients use the kerykeion. Was it placed in the temple of Hermes as a votive offering, used only in artistic depictions, carried around by people in their travels for protection, or only used by herdsmen?

I personally asked Hermes to bless it and make it a vessel for his protection while offering to him, then i attached to my key chain and I carry it everywhere I go.

Should I take it off from my key chain and just leave it on the shrine as a votive?

I would really appreciate a recommendation based on reconstructive approach on how to better incorporate the kerykeion in my religious practice.

When they recited Homer's reference to the Litae, they wrote that the text was spoken by Agamemnon, but it was actually Phoenix. I emailed them on the contact us section, but I'm not sure if they actually see the emails. I was asking if there's another way to inform.
