Insulin pen broke

So this is a new one for me but I noticed the button on my insulin pen has been crooked for a few days, today I dropped it came off and can’t be put back on. I’m going to contact the company and see if they’ll replace but I feel bad for the wasted insulin especially since it’s a relatively new pen I opened earlier this month

Too little/Too much Lantus?

I just took my evening Lantus and when I pushed on the pen, it’s like it wouldn’t click so I had to push the button several times to get it in today. And then when I pulled it out the glob on the end was huge. So idk if it pushed too much in or too little 😭 I am so tired of this. Am I gonna go high or low 🫩

Has anyone had multiple upcoming events and done a chargeback on one of them? Was your account banned/were the other tickets still valid? Asking because I’ve contacted Ticketmaster 10+ times and been rejected every time and I’m done 🥰

So I was diagnosed 2 years ago and am terrified of insulin so year 1 I ate 0 carbs and took 0 insulin, then my sugars became so out of control I couldn’t take 0 anymore so now I have 40-60g of carbs and take 4-6 fast acting units + 7 units lantus per day. And I’ve been doing this for about a year now. When I was having 0 carbs my ketones were always high so I didn’t know if it was from not eating or no insulin or both. Since I started taking insulin I noticed my ketones were negative so I stopped checking for a while. The other night I was like hmm it’s been several months since I checked so I did and it was small ketones. I had a small dinner last night and took 1u and it was small ketones again. So is ketones from not eating or not enough insulin or both? What’s the minimal amount of insulin I can take and not have to worry about ketones or long term bodily depreciation (which is also a concern)? I’m about 100 lbs for reference. And I hate this disease, absolutely ruined my life and I can’t enjoy anything until there’s a cure 🥰
