How do I get through this terrible phase of my relationship? Should I leave him or am I going to fumble a good guy?im the aitk?
My boyfriend and I have been having constant, terrible fights for quite some time now. If I'm being completely honest, most of the fights are my fault. I start arguments, overthink things, compare him to other guys, bring up things that have hurt me in the past, and sometimes keep demanding his attention when he needs to study.
I understand that my behavior has become exhausting for him, and I'm not trying to justify it anymore. I've gotten a lot of comments telling me that I'm the problem, and honestly, I can see why people are saying that.
At the same time, I'm genuinely hurt by some of the things he has said to me. I understand why he's angry and exhausted, but some of his words have really hurt me. I find myself replaying them and using them as another reason to resent him. I don't know how to acknowledge that I'm hurt without using it as an excuse for my own behavior.he used profanity also in rare situation towards the situation
He is preparing for his last attempt at a medical entrance exam, so the timing is especially bad. He feels that I have already distracted him a lot and even affected his studies in the past. I understand why he wants space and why he's frustrated.
But the confusing part is that he is still incredibly loving towards me. Despite all our fights, he still loves me deeply, is very attached to me, and makes it clear that he wants me in his life. This isn't a situation where he is consistently cold or uncaring toward me. The incident where he snapped at me happened during an already terrible period between us, and I know I contributed heavily to the situation.
We also haven't met in real life yet. We've been in an online relationship, which makes me wonder whether we're putting too much emotional pressure on something we haven't even experienced offline.
